The entire mechanic wouldn't make sense. You get better clothing that improves your stats for being better than average players already, that screams giant players. Matches will be probably ranked anyway, so if clothing gives you special preference then it doesn't matter. As a gaming mechanic the concept has never made sense and I have confidence that Nintendo will therefore make hats and pants no more significant than what they look like. Tell me what I am missing.

What I took from his post is that it doesn't make sense to reward players who are already doing well by making them more powerful because then they just snowball harder.

My Wii U arrived today, along with Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2, and ZombiU, in addition to it coming with Mario 3D World. For some reason my Wind Waker HD got pushed to tomorrow, which makes me angry as it was the one I was most hyped for. But anyway, this thing is pretty cool. I really like the remote play thing, and have actually done most of my playing on the controller while I have other stuff up on the TV. Also despite TVii not being as functional as the Xbone TV stuff, they somehow got the controller to work as a remote all on it's own, which the stupid loving Xbone can't do for some retarded reason. Anyway, Bayonetta 2 owns bones, Mario Kart is fun, ZombiU isn't quite doing it for me yet but I'll give it another shot later on. It's dumb that the Virtual Console is so limited compared to what the Wii had, though.
