As a viewer, I still prefer twitch streams. Yes, every change is making it worse and hitbox has almost complete feature parity, but what matters to me is good archiving and decent low bandwidth performance. For those I still think twitch comes out ahead. Now old livestream, thats a good site. If any other service implements free automatic quality level transcoding I'll be an instant convert.

Much larger user base and backing of Amazon behind them to ensure that they don't just disappear tomorrow like most of the video hosts did. I don't disagree that hitbox is generally a more pleasant experience to stream on as long as it actually works and doesn't just say lol bye stream half the time while you're on it.
