When my dad had his sygmoidectomy, they tattooed marks inside his colon so the surgeon would know where to cut. Apparently they didn't need to take out as much as they thought they did so he now has a ring tattooed around the inside of his colon. Shittiest tattoo that only a colonoscopy technician will see.

Sorry I can't post a pic atm but friend of a friend just got their latest tattoo from a mutual acquaintance who has been an artist off and on again for over a decade and...how can someone go so long and not get a simple black outline straight/not jerky? What's worse is the new tattoo is right beside one by the same person that was done a few years ago but the new one looks worse! Oh well, at least it was in an actual shop this time and not their apartment! That's the kind of stuff that's kept me off tattoos for years despite wanting them. Was considering getting one after graduation next year but seeing such lousiness gives me second thoughts (yeah, I know to do a ton of research beforehand but still).
