Reminds me of

There was a tree like this by a rental we had a few years ago. I walked past during a period of fog and it rather freaked me out a little.

We may have years, we may have hours, but sooner or later we push up flowers.

Eliminate (or heavily trim) the rightmost column, crop it at the top and bottom equally to square or 4:3, and clean up that goddamn dust storm.

Edit: ...or maybe just free transform the right side so that column is straight and lose the dust, not sure now.

Yeah I only quickly played with Lightroom presets on them until I find some time to actually work on them. It was right back to work and school in a jet-lagged daze the day after I got back. I still have so many to go through. :(

I'll keep that in mind though when I sit down at Lightroom though!

Cowabunga!
Any recommendations for a first GND filter for sunset landscapes? My options appear to be either 1-3 stops, and either a hard edge or soft edge. I'm thinking a 3 stop may be the most useful since I figure the less reduction needed, the more likely it can just be corrected in post. No idea about whether a hard or soft would be more useful. I'm looking at Lee filters if that matters.

Good people don't rip other people's arms off.
I have the Lee three-stop hardedge and I honestly don't understand how to use it. Granted I don't take a lot of sunset shots but I wonder if bracketing the shot and using exposure blending and whatnot might be easier, especially if you don't have a perfectly straight horizon running through the entire photo.
