Well, if it's a truly lovely faucet and there was like only a trickle of water coming out then it would take you longer to rinse the soap off your hands. I've only ever really seen that in public bathrooms with no security located in parks where only half the sinks are operable with graffiti on the walls talking about how you should call Chelsea for a good time. In established businesses and stuff the water pressure is more than sufficient for washing your hands.

Donald Trump doesn't know what he's talking about. He's probably got builders and money people making decisions to use certain shower heads/faucets to save on the water bill for his business, but he thinks there's some massive EPA conspiracy to turn all showers into water fountains.

A bit late, but I'm from a heavily Asian neighborhood that used to be mostly white; it's a stark difference 20 years ago to now, when my high school went from majority white to less than 10% white (>80% of the school is of Asian descent). And this high school was always pretty upscale too, so it's not like working class whites were getting priced out of their homes by rich Asian immigrants.

Whether it's from the withering away of well-paying blue collar jobs throughout the state or the surge in nonwhite population, there are two million less whites in California today than there were at the time of the 1990 Census.

quote:

The Resort and Spa at Sheri's Ranch would be honored if you would consider our brothel the official venue for your 2016 retirement party. We have a beautiful 20 acre property with a hotel and restaurant on-site, and a full time chef, service, and security personnel.

As far as activities that we can offer attendees, many of your colleagues are intimately aware of our offerings, but we may have added new options since they last visited. In addition to our VIP sex bungalows, BDSM chamber, and numerous Jacuzzi rooms popular with our friends from the political arena, Sheri's has recently added a new massage room where your guests can receive full-body nude massages from one (or more) of the two dozen legal prostitutes on the property at any given time.

We're sure that our venue will be a big hit with your friends, family, and co-workers. Heck, a retirement party at Sheri's may even help lessen the animosity between you and your Republican acquaintances.

Again thank you so much for your years of public service and we anxiously await your reply.

You leave the water running five times longer to wash your hands. The shower. You turn on the shower. There's no water. What is it? They have restricters in. You buy 'em with restricters. EPA. So what do you do? You stay in the shower for three times longer than you want to. There's no saving! And it's terrible. And people come over to our country and they say, 'What the hell's wrong with your showers? What's wrong with your water?'" ~ Donald Trump, in New Hampshire last month.

The owners of that pizza place said something like "it's not discrimination, it's just what we believe."

Turns out that a whole lot of people think denying services to LBGT people isn't discrimination and that's how you get people saying "the RFRA isn't about discrimination" with a totally straight face. They honestly believe it isn't.

That's why he's the frontrunner. Nobody else in the field could figure out in the just the last couple days that the poo poo storm isn't worth it when you can just say sweet nothings.

It's a lot like our mayoral debate where people keep asking the two guys running about adding sexual orientation and gender identification to our Human Rights Ordinance and they refuse to answer the question. Just the repetition of the fact that they don't believe anyone should be discriminated against, like a mantra.

So, would you add language to ban LGBT discrimination to the HRO?

Well, Melissa, I always say I don’t believe in discrimination, I think everyone should be treated fairly, and I know that, as someone who believes in opportunity for all, I believe everyone should be treated equally, I still believe that, and I think that’s important for people to know.

Colorado lawmakers have been forced to send a question to the voters in order to hold on to the $60 million of marijuana taxes because their Taxpayer's Bill of Rights requires the state to send refund checks to all citizens if the state raises more money than they budget for, even though the marijuana tax itself has not been quite as successful as was originally thought.
