I was just pointing out that I am not drafting for the team that my avatar might suggest... just in case.

Pick made. I'm going strict BPA right now, and my sheet says this guy is it. Walter Football and Draftek have him as a mid 2nd rounder and Scouts as a late 3rd. Our secondary is a disaster and converting a corner to safety would make sense (and has already been talked about).

D Smith could turn out to be the steal of the draft so far. If I hadn't already taken an OT in the 2nd that I liked, I'd be all over him. He was clearly the BPA, but Lorenzo was too good of a fit at too good if a value to pass up.

I promise I'm not an ole miss fan, but I think this is the BPA that fits a need for Chicago, and they need a lot of secondary players in general.

I checked the list of drafted players twice because I figured there was no way he could still be there.

Cody Prewitt was one of the players I was considering, and aside from one other was definitely BPA on my list. Nice pick.

Lol, I actually meant Donovan Smith, who went the pick before you. But D'Juan was good there too.

It was a good pick. I was hoping to snag Za'Darius with my later round pick assuming the guy I want is available with my upcoming pick.

I have no idea who he is I just looked at some footage and saw he was generally picked around the 4th and went 'good enough for me'

I like the darren Waller pick. Good guy to pair in the red zone with Julio. Though I think smelter would go ahead of him assuming his knee has recovered.

E: I think whoever picks up smelter towards the end of the draft (or as an udfa) is going to be really happy. I hope the Falcons pick him up since they should know more about him with the home advantage and whatnot.

Hindsight being what it is, I'm thinking in Round 3 or maybe 2 I should have gone for a defense guy and waited for the offense side of the ball. I don't know if what's available to draft on the defense side for the Browns needs is really something that can help us except situationally.

Butt Stuff update:

Mama Butt Stuff saw her new fetal medicine doctor and the boys are doing well, although they are still monitoring the fluid levels. Baby A is 1 lb 9 Oz and baby B is 1 lb 10 Oz. The movers were here yesterday, the house is under contract, and I should drive to Missouri today or tomorrow depending on how long it takes them to load the truck. Now if I can get the sellers of the new home to agree to all the defect remediation, all I have to deal with it a month of a lovely commute and I am home free.

All that said, I definitely won't be able to reliably pick this round and the very least. So if another Chiefs poster can cover me, that would be swell.

Now to try to talk the wife into the names I like, so I don't have to have a kid named Reece or Reed.
