 The first full game of ZUN's game publishing joint is coming out! It's a greatly expanded PS Vita port of the roguelike Mysterious Gensokyo 3, with the new subtitle of "The Tower of Desire". The standard PS Store download price of the game will be 4600 yen. Let's not make fun of the developer Aqua Syle's naming style.

I never really go into the whole Mystery Dungeon roguelike thing until recently so I'm wondering how that'll be. I recall them usually having the biggest audience and resources though, compared to other circles. This isn't getting a physical release is it? Yeah. Sorry you had to find out this way, but every artist who has ever done anything noteworthy has drawn nudes and/or porn at some point. Naked people are really good practice for anatomy, and two people in intimate physical contact are very good for practicing posing and proportions. Leonardo DaVinci did porn, Michelangelo's career was built on nudes. It's just part of the territory of being an artist.

I ain't shocked about it, that's why I'm pointing out that I ain't got no evidence that Harukawa or Alphes displayed porn on their accounts. Or Hirasaka, some to think of it. I know that most every artist does nudes. I'm pointing out that Zun's 'official' artists appear to all be exceptions, and I'm presuming this is a connecting factor to his preferences.

That makes sense if you're talking about a job, but this isn't a job. It's a hobby. This is something they do for fun (and probably doesn't pay enough for them to quit their day jobs, ZUN excluded). They aren't professionals and they're not trying to be professionals. It's literally a group of friends who hang out together and make games together. Or, at least, that's the "doujin ideal" that ZUN espouses, so he's be something of a hypocrite if he did otherwise.
