First episode of DD was pretty good. Are they gonna awkwardly try to shoehorn this into the Marvel cinematic universe as a whole? I've already seen a little easter egg for a pretty well known villain an old boxing poster said Creel vs Murdock, Creel's the Absorbing Man. I could easily see the Punisher and other street level dudes showing up, just based off the tone of the first episode, but I don't really feel like flying robots and poo poo will fit in.

Walking to the parking garage at 3 am to grab the car and head to a call. See a big motherfucker with his shirt off trying to start poo poo with anyone that happens to be outside. Pull the car out to the street just in time to see a skinny white guy about half his weight meet him in the street. Look in my rearview just in time to see him drop like a sack of poo poo in the middle of the street from one punch.
