Sounds like it was congential; him getting hurt on the field just happened to be what caused them to find it.

But yeah that's gonna be awful.

E: Clayton Nicholas, who transferred to BG from Texas Tech, is now transferring out after having not won the starting job. He never played a snap for us, so I can't really tell you anything about the guy.

Can throw the ball far, terrible at everything else. His name turned into a running joke on the TTU rivals board because no one could ever actually spell it correctly. That's about all there is on the kid.

College bowl payouts surpass $500 million.

$200 million higher than the year before, thanks largely due to the new TV deals to broadcast the semis/finals. Obvious "If only there was any money in college football to pay the athletes" jokes aside, this at least demolishes the worries about the playoffs not earning as much money and will hopefully lead to talk of expanding the playoffs sooner.

Thats good, I am always happy when programs give a player in a lovely situation a soft place to land, unlike Saban who tries to cannibalize them for parts for other players.

Somebody can probably explain this better but Northwestern doesn't really have a spring "game;" it's more of a final practice with various drills combined with a short scrimmage (note that it's not at Ryan Field). Why the ref threw the flag is beyond me, too.

The only reason I know this is because BTN was on at the bar I was at Saturday night.

I don't think Michigan is that ready for Harball.

Also, it's not like he left Stanford on bad terms. It'd just be unpleasant for Harbaugh, Shaw, Stanford players recruited by Harbaugh, and Michigan fans.

I don't really think this is true at all. NIU is in a better situation than Pitt in one area (football), and that's not permanent.

Also, being able to paid more would make it a step up anyways

Easier to please the masses at NIU than at Pitt, that's why it's easier. Pitt has lovely support and looks like one big AD headache.

They threw an unsportsmanlike conduct flag in ours when a walk-on WR held on to a catch after getting drilled between two defenders and spun the ball afterward. Let the dude have his moment, drat.
