Hey kids, guess what time it is! THIS WEEK IN LL101! And since it went over so well last time, we're doing the whole thing at once. And were then silenced, right? Right?!!? Everyone to the right of Hillary is stupid. A good macro. Like, seriously, what else does that mean? So they're claiming she's the Child Catcher now? Yes, continue insulting the elderly, your base will adore that. I feel like this is directed at D&D. Do they really think that if they claim Hillary has no accomplishments, they can overwrite basic reality? Wow, they really are banking on the age thing. Because the right were so appreciative of a handsome young man in the form of Barrack Obama. The Post doesn't like her. HUGE NEWS! Hey look, an Onion joke done way worse. Aww, isn't that cute, they think they've given anyone a single reason to think they aren't sexist over the last 6 years. Because there's a lot of this empty poo poo, I'm going to just list things that are older than Hillary Clinton. Reagan at his inauguration Hillary is above all the bullshit the right has tried to smear her with. The mathematical connotations of that logo makes AGCing these things way easier. Hillary's scandals. What are these new scandals you have that are fact based? Well, we can't say anything, but they're MIGHTY SCANDALOUS! The most vulnerable people in society are kicked to the curb and starved. SUCCESS! Ah yes, the return of trying to downplay how ridiculous that looked. Those who wish to be free, shown here, trying to fight off those who wish to curtail marriage freedom and reproductive freedom. And now the pivot to whining incessantly when their unqualified candidates don't get treated seriously. ....the gently caress is this argument even? There also aren't cause of death: depression obituaries. Things older than Hillary Clinton - the average Fox viewer. So they're trying to play BOTH the "she's old" and "she's inexperienced" cards. I know they're just throwing poo poo at the wall to make something stick, but there's got to be some internal consistency, The media love Hillary, which is why they pounced on her at a Chipotle, looking for a scandal. How dare the media say Republicans are sexist. Now more about how Hillary Clinton is a witch. I know putting in Julian Castro would be too much for them, but could they at least not pretend to be diverse while still having half of them be white males? Because none of your other attacks worked, might as well. WHAT Republican effort to try to make rape meaningless? Its nice to know that their sexism and victim blaming aren't just concentrated on Hillary. And as we all know, fishing and logging, that's where the real money is. If anyone ever needs a reason to support Hillary, I can think of no more glowing recommendation than how much the right wing hates her. Hey look, a mistake that Britain unleashed on the world, that has been using undue influence to hurt the innocent and the young for decades. And Israel. Substance! They believe in setting people free - in black peoples case, it just happens to be off a cliff. The sign of a great joke - when you need to explain it, and it still makes no loving sense. And all it would cost is the United States as we know it. So they're putting "She hasn't accomplished anything" hand in hand with "she's a woman", and wonder why they're called sexist. Things older than Hillary Clinton - John McCain if he had won. Black people suffering? Bah, like that will motivate Republicans to do something. Ah yes, the illustrious Clintoon legacy, stretching back generations of privilige. People who Republicans hate? NOT REAL AMERICANS! Things older than Hillary Clinton - Average Rush Limbaugh listener. Hey, remember when Obama said in 2009 that he was going to sabotage the Government in the hopes it would reflect badly on Republicans? Hey look, its the same thing they did for Obama. What are the odds that she is also the worst person ever? Doesn't make enough to pay taxes, and also doesn't pay taxes. HYPOCRITE! Much like their asses and a hole in the ground, Republicans can't tell the difference between Democrats and farm animals. Things older than Hillary Clinton - the average age of membership tot he NRA. Who the hell is this guy? And now they're attacking a charity. Is it me, or are they only going after her in ways that will hurt them? Woman who pays taxes gladly, paid taxes he found out she owed gladly. HYPOCRITE! And now her latest scandal, misunderstanding her grandparents. ARREST HER! Since about the third century AD. And I'm sure they'd be just as supportive of Muslims wanting to pray. She didn't tip! In a chain restaurant! Why won't the media report on what we know is true! Hillary Clinton defended a man, in a function vital for justice! Scandal! Ah yes, I was wondering what was missing, of course, more screaming about anti-choice. Hey, speaking of the Death Tax.... Money they printed, and that the Bible compels you to give to them. BUT STOLEN! Hey look, more basic misunderstandings of reality by gun owners. What are the odds? Just wouldn't be a helldump without a quote that's completely BS. http://www.snopes.com/politics/clintons/zeifman.asp When Republicans stopped giving to the Country. Which is why babies aren't involved at all in abortion, only fetus's. Stay tuned for part 2. Nah, I'm loving with you. Thats it for this week.

Yeah stick with that marketing strategy, Republicans. 96% of black voters picked Obama in our secret ballot because they've been tricked into thinking it's not okay to be Republican. It has nothing to do with the irrepressible glee from the right every time an unarmed black man is murdered by police or anything.

Something occurred to me the other day in the political cartoons thread, when I saw a Ramirez joking about a broomstick being Air Force 3, that there's no male counterpart to calling a woman a witch. I guess because for several centuries in Europe the powerful were men by default and the only conceivable way a woman could gain power was through sexuality and/or arcane magical knowledge, both associated with witchcraft. I've honestly tried but the closest I can come up with is "wizard" which is pretty much universally complementary, at least in tech circles.

Warlock would be the male equivalent. It's not really used to put people down now, but it used to carry the connotations of being treasonous, untrustworthy, or an oath-breaker. Wizard just makes me think of Wizardchan, which is not complementary.

(in that he didn't care about black people, didn't do enough, etc. Not that he was a southern democrat, which is likely the side of the aisle these people would have been on).

This is all so manufactured. I'm not particularly excited by Hillary (which I think may indicate she will be less dominant than Obama if she's the eventual candidate) but having all these nonsense demonizing things is ridiculous. Benghazi didn't work in 2012, who cares now? And everything else is mysoginy and misrepresentation of the Democrat platform. Apparently the right is terrified of her running because they're virtually ignoring any other Democrat candidate.

I had a friend from high school (lives in Alaska and her husband is in the military) post a picture that said "If you are voting for Hillary, unfriend me now." Several people said "hell yeah" and a few said "I am voting for her." She then said "there is only one word to explain why she will not vote for her: Benghazi" I asked her what about Benghazi. She gave some rambling thing that proved Hillary was at fault. (And used Brietbart as her source) I posted an article that showed that Republican committees found her and the administration without fault. She said that there is nothing that will make her forgive her for that even after I showed that they did nothing wrong. Husband (the soldier) then posted the four reasons to not vote for Hillary picture with the four dead from Benghazi. Some people are just delusional.

Because admitting that you need or take assistance in any form from the government is supposed to be shameful and the mark that you are a failure, and not the entire loving reason there is a government. If you vote Republican, it means that you don't need any help from anybody. Its just that the ways that rich white straight men benefeit from government don't count as the shameful kind.

Besides, if it benefits me, it may very well benefit lots and lots of other people, and so benefit society generally. No that ideology shifts and morphs, chimaera-like whenever it suits them. Gay rights, for example, have to be opposed because they harm society for the selfish benefit of a few individual sodomites. The ideology is "gently caress the poor, gays, blacks, and women". Compare their outlook on children. Children need to sit down, shut up, respect their elders, say the pledge, and be kept in line with a belt. Unless they're refusing to eat Michelle Obama's healthy food and then they should run everything and have ice cream and fries for breakfast if they want.
