Thanks to this thread I've been craving burgs all week. Don't know how I've missed this thread for so long, I love burgers, one of my favorite foods. I finally got a chance to get one last night. Went to smashburger, had never been and one recently opened up near me. Burger was great but the service was awful. 8/10 would go back, maybe they were just having an off night. Only problem is rather than giving satisfaction to my burg itch it has just intensified. Other good places to try are burger-fi and elevation burger (newish to the Raleigh area chains).

The cheese should definitely not be rigid like that though. It doesn't have the curves that nice melted seppo cheese should have. It also indicates that the patty is not freshly cooked

It's more the way they put the avocado on. It's really like a big weird glob like they were too lazy to slice and it's just too much.
