I like the look of these three.
I hope ST is full of plenty more descriptions like "A shambling, muck-encrusted mockery of a man"

Love Kelley Jones Swamp Thing. This is the Convergence mini that I care most about. And if you've never read the original Wein/Wrightson run, you really should. "Muck-encrusted mockery" gets dropped like every issue.

Nah, just a white noise response stating the obvious. Finch really is the worst and it's a wonder that DC pushes him so hard when they have Jason Fabok who has the exact same style as Finch, but is a million times more competent.

That slimmed down Cyborg costume is sweet and I'm really happy about what I'm hearing in that interview.

I honestly think they gave him a crazy contract because they thought they were taking a steal from Marvel and are just stuck with him now.

Really excited for Parker on JLU. The Legion arc Lemire did was pretty unexciting, but this expansion idea they're running sounds awesome with all the characters listed to appear.

I like the setting shifting to Warlord land, but it's a terrible reading comic. I think Zsasz says "Not so fast, Batman" twice on subsequent pages.

Also, at least in the digital version, they used the wrong art in a spread.

Before we engage we should hang back and study their tactics.
I just read Green Lantern: Rebirth for the first time. I know people have said that Geoff Johns has a hard-on for Hal Jordon, but Jesus, this poo poo was like some fan fiction writer jizzed all over the pages, especially at the end.

"AND THEN HAL JORDAN PUNCHES BATMAN IN THE FACE, GIVES HIM THE FINGER AND WALKS OFF LIKE A BADASS!!!!"

Should I even continue with this run if I didn't like rebirth? (I was also not a fan of the art. At the beginning of issue one, I wasn't sure if I was looking at Hal Jordan or Kyle Rayner...)

There is no homosexual terrorist Johnny Silverhand
Convergence: Wonder Woman was...eh. Just kind of dour and dismal for some reason. You got your one chance to write a final storyline for the bona fide Silver Age Wonder Woman and there's just no wonder here. After months of Sensation Comics providing all sorts of interesting (if inconsistent) non-modern Wonder Woman shorts, this was a bit of a let down.

(now copy-paste that last phrase for the rest of this event)

Getting rid of the dialogue only improves the scene, I think.

Weirdly, it's an advantage DC have on Marvel, because WB want the girls' market, whereas Disney consider Marvel a boys-only product because that's why they bought it (they figure they have girls tied up with the Princess and Fairy lines anyway)

I also like how it's a bunch of white chicks that everyone knows, and then it's super-obvious someone mentioned it at the pitch meeting and the rest of the table went: "Um... er... Katana's Japanese! And er... uh.... well... Bumblebee! She's black!"
