Your words are very hurtful, the Isabelle-mobile is designed for cuteness, not winning.

I wish there was a way to make a room that was just Baby Park or a way to change the number of laps so it would be possible to do a 100 lap Baby Park race.

200cc and Frantic of course.

Right at the start of Big Blue in 200cc you can drift for absolutely ages. It feels so cool.

These tracks are clearly not designed for 200cc. So many times I have launched off a ramp and flown into the wall because there is no way not to. Still massively fun.

I find myself trying to hop just before a ramp to avoid getting launched by it.

I always end up falling off in Mute City because the twist in the road after the tunnel can send you flying.

In case anyone isn't clear this is REQUIRED for 200cc. They even put it in the blurb on the speed select screen for single player "BREAKING IS CRITICAL"

There's also letting off the accelerator, as well as braking while accelerating. Lots of options (ok three).

That's what I said! It's not even labeled in the controls! Sure enough, B is brake (maybe X as well.) You can brake while drifting, which is awesome, but can cancel the drift if you brake too much, which will gently caress up your line.

I don't know how well I'll adapt to 200CC. I just don't believe in using the break. But, I'm starting to believe that use of the break is mandatory to not fly off the road.

Thanks for the tips that you can break while power sliding; I would have never thought of that.

I really love my "muscle memory" for the 150CC. Do I want to risk wrecking that? Time will tell...

When you drift you have to tap the brake in a short quick rhythm, at least with an inside drift bike. It's not comfortable to do at all with the Gamepad and how the shoulder trigger is placed on that controller.

I don't know if this will help, but I believe you can use one of the joysticks (that you normally steer with) and hold it it down to go in reverse, that might also have a breaking effect. So, maybe try pulling back (down) on the joystick? I might have to try that myself.
