You should be proud that mankind was able make it trivial, but you have to admit that if someone was to tackle the direct route up, only using everests face it would be far from a casual stroll.

Current status of Camp 1 and 2 has most of the remaining people on C2 now down to C1 awaiting the first heli evac window on the 27th between 0700-1200hr. I'm guessing they'll just ferry them to BC as quickly as possible, as there is ~100 people to move, with most only having 1-2 days of supplies remaining. The man in charge of the evac from C1 is Captain Dick Gale, and I approve of his name.
