What's this thread's opinion on the best way to sauce a burger? For me it's half mayo and half red relish.

Got me a chili cheese bacon burg at the Crown on Saturday. That poo poo, as always, was the bomb. I've had better technical burgs, but there's something about the atmosphere that makes it perfect.

I dont usually sauce burgers, unless it's with BBQ applied as the meat is still on the grill. Otherwise it's usually just butter on the bun.

If you want to get fancy, homemade garlic aoli. Otherwise, best foods mayo and mustard. I like dijon or the spicy beaver poo poo.

Is that a meat pie inside the patty? That looks like a meat pie inside the patty Did some burgin tonight. Kept it basic: Chuck beef patty, mustard, cheddar slice, iceburg lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and mayo, and home made fries. Real good aejix fucked around with this message at 12:47 on Apr 27, 2015 |

i cooked a burg in a cast iron for the first time. it turned out really nicely. little jalapeno cheddar burg for lunch - i undercooked it a bit on the stove top so i popped it in the oven for a little while to finish. very tasty but i need to work on my cooking technique some.

wait wtf, like do you soak the meat in the soup before cooking it like a marinade or do you just pop open a can and dump it on??

Fetus Tree posted:cream of mushroom soup is pretty good on a burg just to be clear, you mean like the reduced soup from cambpell that's thick until you cook it right? you just use that as a spread, with the heat from the patty warming it? I mean that's the lazy man's way, if you were cooking from scratch you'd of course have to make your own reduction of real soup

I usually use a bagel or a biscuit as a bun though.
