Sorry I'm late. Is this a unified tribe, or are lines drawn along pre-shuffle lines despite the early shuffle? I think there's definitely some baggage from the old tribes. It's impossible to completely ignore our origins, so to speak. What could you have done differently to win the immunity challenge? I think we honestly did our best. I don't know how the people who weren't here could have contributed, though. This is a game with Hidden Immunity Idols. Have you given any thought to who, if anyone, might have an idol in their pocket? Yes, I have, considering I was taken out by one last time.

This is a game with Hidden Immunity Idols. Have you given any thought to who, if anyone, might have an idol in their pocket? I think we all played really well together for the challenge. Poison Mushroom got in a lot of suggestions and Rurea and and Chic Trombone did the drawings. I talked a lot, but that's just what happens to me. I can't shut up. We tried to make the coolest outfit that was also practical, although that seemed to be the wrong way to go entirely! Fish shoes?? They weren't even shoes! They were smelly foot toppers! Good luck in the Hot sand Sexy tribe! Bitter? Who me? We spent like 2 days on that, and our drawers had to keep fixing stuff because the rest of us had opinions I was going to write the description, but I did not get the opportunity. I hadn't really thought about immunity idols.. There was only one challenge with a clear individual winner, but there could be something I'm totally missing and then I will feel really stupid.

Is this a unified tribe, or are lines drawn along pre-shuffle lines despite the early shuffle? I think we've tried to come together, but it's always easier to trust those you've had the most opportunity to build relationships with. I think the most important factor in who to vote off is how to make the tribe the strongest possible so that we don't end up here again. What could you have done differently to win the immunity challenge? I think we tried to focus on what would be the most practical outfit for prolonged wear with what we had available. We should have focused on creativity and aesthetic more. This is a game with Hidden Immunity Idols. Have you given any thought to who, if anyone, might have an idol in their pocket?[/b] Not yet. I think it's still early days for an idol to come out.

Questions for everybody: Is this a unified tribe, or are lines drawn along pre-shuffle lines despite the early shuffle? I think we're gonna find out some answers in regards to that tonight. I'd love a unified tribe like I'm sure we all would but somebody has to go home and with such a whirlwind turnaround in terms of the tribe swap and the challenge, it might have been difficult for people to stray from those pre-shuffle lines. quote:This is a game with Hidden Immunity Idols. Have you given any thought to who, if anyone, might have an idol in their pocket?[/b] Hearing a former Sexy tribe member openly talking about knowledge of idol clues going out is concerning, considering that they know they're in the minority. I certainly haven't gotten any idol clues or heard any rumblings about an idol. If you wanna talk about tribal unity then masking your knowledge of any idols that may be out there might not be the best way to achieve that. Fast Luck posted:Optional question for the original Swole players: Any response to this? None of you reached out to Met after the shuffle? Only one person reached out to me and I'm supposedly in the Swole majority so it's not just the Sexys who are concerned about a lack of communication from their tribemates.

None of you reached out to Met after the shuffle? I think if Met was feeling unsure about his place in the tribe it would be up to him to try to make something happen. I talked to Met after we lost the challenge and he expressed concern over his safety but he didn't push for anyone to go. That being said I think Met is an asset to our tribe and if we're both still here tonight I hope we can start to build closer bonds.

Fast Luck posted:How would you respond to a Sexy tribe rebuttal that their costume didn't require killing a boar or catching and skinning dozens of lizards? Dead fish strapped to your feet may smell, but the other tribe may argue that at least they can get dead fish. I would say that killing a single boar is not impossible and has happened on Survivor and is therefore fair game! Plus, we only needed one. As far as the iguana pants go - we only had 3 girls, and Iguanas are pretty big. They're the size of dogs in the Caribbean, and their skin is all shades of awesome greens and vibrant! Poison Mushroom even mentioned in the description that these pants (which Chic Trombone was happy to stitch together) could also be modified per individual girl from capris down to short-shorts, as the amount of iguana leather permitted. IIRC there was no mention of how LONG we'd already been on the island when we got our costumes together.

gently caress it, I'm not gonna be passive aggressive. I'm gonna do what I do and speak my mind about this. D. Coil, the lack of communication with you certainly wasn't for lack of trying. Not a single post in the thread, even, before tonight? Maybe you really didn't have access to the doc, but you didn't find anything weird about that after a week and a challenge? And then suddenly come back in, conveniently right during tribal, trying to point the finger and insinuate that we cut you out of the loop? I don't like that at all, I don't like whatever game you're trying to play.

Fast Luck posted:Thank you, Garth. Garth, can I ask you, what's it been like on a tribe with Poison Mushroom? It's a little surreal. I came back to this game hoping for redemption not expecting to have to play against the person who orchestrated my exit last time. We talked slightly about it and she mentioned that she did it to try and manufacture an easy vote and keep herself in the game. Ultimately, I hold no ill feelings towards her, I mean, that's how you play Survivor and i take full responsibility for the things I did and didn't do to keep myself in the game. Hopefully, we can work together this time to ensure an Ultra Swole victory.

I've found Hiipfire to be reliable in the past both for Challenges and Tribals. I worry that this was a bad week to have issues.

I simply replied to Met saying that no one went out of his way to talk to him and saying "I'd say that's telling." I just wanted to make the point that it wasn't just Sexy members who hadn't had much communication with the tribe and that it wasn't necessarily "telling" of how there's a tribal split. As far as the challenge goes, I wasn't there and I let us down. I have my reasons (settling back in to my old job, which I started again last week) but nobody cares about those. Like the rest of you, I thought our design was the best and we got a raw deal from the judges. I'm here tonight because it's a tribal and I think everyone in the tribe should be here and answering questions and taking the heat, regardless of whether they've been the most active players or not. I resent the notion that I'm "conveniently" here during tribal - I'm here because we're all in this mess and we all should be here together, taking the heat together and answering Jeff's questions and each other's comments together. The people who AREN'T here are the ones who deserve more scorn than those who have missed challenges, at least in my opinion.
