Weird that you guys are talking about healthcare. I need an adult. Dug a little black dot out of my shoulder a few days ago and now I've got a giant pink/red mound growing out of there. Lots of pressure. Would love to get it lanced, scraped, and packed. Do I: - Go to the campus health center - Drop into a ER somewhere and find out if Obama's got my back (I enrolled in something last year, no idea if I needed to renew it this year) - Go to the VA. I don't think I'm enrolled. Gonna do that but I guess it takes a week or so to process? Other than a Navy O cupping my balls at MEPS or corpsmen digging pus out of my body I haven't been to a "doctor" in over a decade. No idea how this works.

My healthcare costs more than doubled with ACA, for MUCH shittier coverage. Premiums went up roughly 120%, total out of pocket nearly tripled, fewer choices with doctors, I now NEED a recommendation before I can see a specialist. Apparently I was right on the cusp of age/income where everything got significantly worse. We need single payer, but holy dog gently caress what a horrible implementation.
