I think it would be cool if they could balance the old style Dragonball comedy they did in BoG with the more serious, action focused stuff of the Z arcs. Also it's be great if the conflict is more than an endless confrontation with a single monolithic bad guy; henchmen, agendas and plot developments other than surprise powerups made the Frieza saga far more varied and fun to follow than the later stufftbp posted:i dont want wacky adventures really, i'd like the new bad guy to be powerful...moreso than we've seen before, and goku and vegeta must ascend to new heights to defeat him

id also be cool if there was a tournament that had two new incredibly strong enemies.. one of whom vegeta beats earlier on to make it look like hes top dog, then goku and vegeta battle in the semis and goku wins by a little, and then he battles the other guy in the very end and loses learning that he still has room to grow

The reason why Dragon Ball \ Z is so great is because it has some pretty humble beginnings and is the complete opposite of pretentious. It's a bunch of big muscle men yelling, shooting kung fu lasers and making fart and boob jokes. It's stupid and infantile as hell and it gives no shits about it. It's Akira Toriyama drawing whatever the gently caress he wants. Dinosaurs? Crazy 80s hair metal hair? A weird rubber genie man?
