If you live in North America, you are choosing from Iris of Ether's prize pot.
If you live in Europe, you are choosing from Krushgroove's prize pot.
If you live anywhere else, you may choose from either prize pot.

Thanks again to everyone who donated! If you're drawing from Iris's pot you should pick both a 'small' prize and a 'big' prize! In general, that means one prize equal to a GW box set and one prize equal to 1-3 solo minis. 'Gimme a big hit from the box of Bones' counts as a valid choice, by the way. There's so much loot that there's still gonna be a huge end-of-year prize left over from this, even with being this generous.

Oath Complete!

Backstory:
Be'Oldor the Eye Tyrant©®™ floated dramatically forward. The psychic creature had gathered much of the treasure within this azure tomb, but not without opposition. The guardians of the ancient place were long dead, but their spirits lingered on. Several close calls with the ethereal specters had given Be'Oldor new appreciation for how annoying a 50% miss chance could be. Pursued by all four of the multicolored guardians, her eyestalks desperately attempted to find a way out of the narrow tunnels. As she turned the corner, however, her central eye lit upon a glow at the end of the corridor. Could that be... a Pill of Power?

I also made some tokens for Infinity, to make declaring my faction easier:

going to claim I rolled a 6! for these.

While it's somewhat against the intent of the Journal, I wanted to make one set of models centered around OSL, and the other centered around Freehand. I'm going to assume that still qualifies, right?
Tomorrow I'm planning on making another post including my All for One and In Battle! Achievements.

EDIT: Because I'm a simpleton who forgets to put his name in every month.

I am thankful the base is not included in the speed part. I will finish that bit by the end of the month for the full complete post with my journals, but for proof that they are in fact done now they are:

Freehand- Lightingbolts

Weathering- Heat-stressed barrels

I think it looks a bit busy, but it works with my other night-lord color scheme I have going.

Also my phone washes out everything. I'll be happy when my girlfriend's birthday gets here and she opens that camera I bought her. It just so happens to have a decent macro and wifi sharing :ninja: ...

And now to finish those last few bonuses...

In Battle!
I was able to get a game in before the end of the season and it was a blast. The space wolf player had a Logan's heroes list with Arjac, Najal, Logan and a bodyguard of worlfguard terminators. He deepstruck them in the middle of my army, he could not have scattered at all or he would have periled. I murdered his escorts on the charge but his three champions stood on that hill and each held on with one wound left each. In the end I only had two soulgrinders left and he won handily.

The picture here is his Murderfang charging my seekers. I rolled well and was able to bring him down to one hullpoint thanks to lucky rends! Thankfully my High WS and inv save kept me safe from much damage.

Next turn the Murderfang died to a scattered Phlegm shot, but I forgot to consolidate/run the seekers so they were all but obliterated by a greyhunter squad that drop-podded next to them (with the Str5 large blast launcher too).

Thanks man! I actually do use just CA glue most of the time, after filing down the feet so there's a smooth join with the plastic. If I need to I lightly score the acrylic so there's a bit more tooth to it. If Corvus Belli is being a bunch of assholes (e.g., every jump troop ever) I'll pin their goddamned tippy-toes (the only point of contact) into the plastic. For fogging, I just make sure I only use a very little amount and ensure good ventilation. If it does fog up, I just scrape the fogged section off.

I was pretty happy with how the Planet___ tanks turned out, especially since they were the result of having no idea what to do for the fourth-wall journal. It's the one I have the most trouble thinking up every year, so I was pleased to find something that I actually enjoyed.

I've started replying to emails and PMs that have come to me - if you are due a prize from this past Oath Season, please EMAIL me at krushgroove169@gmail.com. Please put 'Oath Thread Prize for (username)' or something similar in the subject line. PMs are impossible to search through and Gmail's conversation thread system is much easier to navigate.

If you're picking something from the Troll Trader or Grab Bags please give me 2 or 3 choices in case another prize winner has picked what you wanted.

Prizes are on a first-come, first-serve basis, and you'll be able to claim prizes until the end of MAY if you haven't already. This is a FIRM cut-off time, and I'll assume that if you don't get in touch with me (or the prize provider, if it's another goon like Dagon or stabbington) that you're not interested in the prize you won and you're happy for it to be passed on or saved for another goon.

Season Six!
I'm happy to roll straight into the glorious SIXTH season of the Oath Thread, although Grand Prize sponsors have to be finalized and a few behind-the-scenes things need to be finished up. I started getting in touch with existing sponsors a while back and will work throughout Season 6 to fill in any prize 'gaps' we might end up with.

Looking for prize sponsors!
If you'd like to be a goon sponsor or if you have any Grab Bag items you want to donate, get in touch! krushgroove169@gmail.com is the best way.

Ah I was wondering about this (the timing of the next season). There was some discussion a while back about maybe having a one month gap to get everything finished up and organised, and then getting set up to start up the new season in June. So we're going back-to-back? Alrighty, time waits for no brush!

Okay, this month I almost bit off more than I could chew..... So get ready for several hundred British soldiers! This is an entire BEF 1914 division for Great War Spearhead.

The command staff, Howitzers, Engineers and Cavalry.

Three a batteries of 18pnders

One brigade of infantry, now I could take photos of the other two individually, but that wouldn't really show the scale.

ONE WHOLE DIVISION! (I will admit, there was a point in this where I was singing "Just keep flocking, Just keep flocking" to myself. Phew, Done now, all I need to do at some point is the Germans......

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!

A Harbinger class Dropship with three magnetized Ravagers.

Here they are on their own, to aid counting.

The UCM have not been forgotten though, with four new Ravans - two are my black Ravens.

These are the spec op's Pretorians that go in them.

Finally, here we have some Woverines, the guns are interchangable, as after two layers of varnish they have a good fit.

April - It's dangerous to divide by 0

No top 10 finish for me I think, takes judges points to do that. On to next season anyway!

Banging with all due hardness.
Oath Complete!

That jurnal was double up and I did with a cut and swap from September and a fancy base from June.
That's it for me. It's been really fun and I managed to complete 69 miniatures and 8 tokens.

See ya next season!

If you build a man a fire he'll be warm for a night.
If you set a man on fire he'll be warm for the rest of his short, painful life.
When does the next season start, fellows? Seeing all of your completed collections is inspiring!

ASK ME ABOUT HOW SCOTLAND'S PROPOSED TRANS LEGISLATION IS DIVISIVE AS HELL BECAUSE IT IS SO SWEEPING THAT IT COULD BE POTENTIALLY ABUSED AT A TIME WHERE THE LACK OF SAFETY FOR WOMEN HAS BEEN SO GLARING

Oath complete!

Double Jurnal is Hair (November) for the stubble and Battle Damage (March) for the facial scars - both on the Captain model
I'm claiming Strike a pose, All for one and I rolled a 6 achievements (see below)

5 Marines:

Objective Marker:
Achievement: I rolled a 6!

Achievement: Strike a pose!
Maximinus Metallius Xylo V and his squadron of marines had been stationed on this lonely rock for months, without any sign of combat. With little else to do, boredom had set in.
"Who wants to play another round of Hide the meat stick in the dreadnought?" asked Brother Marcus Muzzler. The rest of the marines groaned in desperation, failing to notice the enemy they'd been waiting for had finally arrived...

Achievement: All for one!

September: Killa-Kan
October: Ork Painboy with Grot orderly
November: 40k Ork Nob
