Oath Complete! Backstory: Be'Oldor the Eye Tyrant©®™ floated dramatically forward. The psychic creature had gathered much of the treasure within this azure tomb, but not without opposition. The guardians of the ancient place were long dead, but their spirits lingered on. Several close calls with the ethereal specters had given Be'Oldor new appreciation for how annoying a 50% miss chance could be. Pursued by all four of the multicolored guardians, her eyestalks desperately attempted to find a way out of the narrow tunnels. As she turned the corner, however, her central eye lit upon a glow at the end of the corridor. Could that be... a Pill of Power?   I also made some tokens for Infinity, to make declaring my faction easier:  going to claim I rolled a 6! for these. While it's somewhat against the intent of the Journal, I wanted to make one set of models centered around OSL, and the other centered around Freehand. I'm going to assume that still qualifies, right? Tomorrow I'm planning on making another post including my All for One and In Battle! Achievements. EDIT: Because I'm a simpleton who forgets to put his name in every month. First up, All For One:  December - 2x PHR Hyperion Heavy Walkers, 2x PHR Odin Heavy Walkers, 2x PHR Athena Air Superiority Fighters January - 3x Neptune Dropship,4x Juno IFV, 8x bases of Immortals, 2x Zeus Heavy Walkers, 2x Enyo Heavy Walkers. Febuary - 2x PHR Helios, 2x PHR Angelos. March - 'Dark Knight' Scarecrow, 4x Gargoyles, Solomon Grundy. Not bad for 5 months I think, particularly as there is more stuff I worked on for a tournament that didn't fit into oaths! Next turn the Murderfang died to a scattered Phlegm shot, but I forgot to consolidate/run the seekers so they were all but obliterated by a greyhunter squad that drop-podded next to them (with the Str5 large blast launcher too). Strike a Pose On a warp stricken planet two champions of chaos beseech the gods for unholy power. There is only one chosen one, who does the gods favor today?  All For One!   May- 13 lasgunners June- 3 Snipers, 2 Flamers July- 2x Melta dudes, 2x Plasma dudes and 2x Sargent dudes August- 14 Seekers of Slaanesh and one Herald of Slaanesh on a Seeker Mount September- 1 plasma, 1 melta, 1 flamer, 1 Sargent and two basic guardsmen October- 5 Mantic Corporation marines and 3 mantic zombies November- 1x sarge, 2x flamer and 7x lasgun December- one converted Lord on Juggernaut January- Three chaos marines on a horse February- 2x priests, 2x guardsmen and 1x heavy weapon team March- two nightlord horse riders, one with a banner, and a counter for the new blood tithe system April- one GW Stormtalon That's a fair bit of models there. I owe it all to my brother mostly, he was hounding me to oath every month no matter how far I pushed that deadline. Thanks bro, and thank you oath thread!

did a quick demonstration to a friend of how Infinity's face-to-face rolls work, and took the opportunity to take an In Battle! picture. I also did a big collected shoot of everything I oathed this month for All for One! The real startling thing for me was discovering that I only oathed about a third of all the models I painted this year! Thanks man! I actually do use just CA glue most of the time, after filing down the feet so there's a smooth join with the plastic. If I need to I lightly score the acrylic so there's a bit more tooth to it. If Corvus Belli is being a bunch of assholes (e.g., every jump troop ever) I'll pin their goddamned tippy-toes (the only point of contact) into the plastic. For fogging, I just make sure I only use a very little amount and ensure good ventilation. If it does fog up, I just scrape the fogged section off. I was pretty happy with how the Planet___ tanks turned out, especially since they were the result of having no idea what to do for the fourth-wall journal. It's the one I have the most trouble thinking up every year, so I was pleased to find something that I actually enjoyed.

Oath Complete Okay, this month I almost bit off more than I could chew..... So get ready for several hundred British soldiers! This is an entire BEF 1914 division for Great War Spearhead.  The command staff, Howitzers, Engineers and Cavalry.  Three a batteries of 18pnders  One brigade of infantry, now I could take photos of the other two individually, but that wouldn't really show the scale.  ONE WHOLE DIVISION! (I will admit, there was a point in this where I was singing "Just keep flocking, Just keep flocking" to myself. Phew, Done now, all I need to do at some point is the Germans...... BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!  A Harbinger class Dropship with three magnetized Ravagers.  Here they are on their own, to aid counting.  The UCM have not been forgotten though, with four new Ravans - two are my black Ravens.  These are the spec op's Pretorians that go in them.  Finally, here we have some Woverines, the guns are interchangable, as after two layers of varnish they have a good fit. Next month/Oath year, something a little more sane!

Oath complete! Double Jurnal is Hair (November) for the stubble and Battle Damage (March) for the facial scars - both on the Captain model I'm claiming Strike a pose, All for one and I rolled a 6 achievements (see below) 5 Marines:     Objective Marker: Achievement: I rolled a 6!  Achievement: Strike a pose! Maximinus Metallius Xylo V and his squadron of marines had been stationed on this lonely rock for months, without any sign of combat.
