I look forward to the point where there's like 10 different committees in Congress devoted to different Clinton scandals. Republicans will be screaming "Why don't you people care about this?!" and people will be screaming back "Why don't you loving do ANYTHING else?"

I'm actually starting to think the purpose here is to try to make a bunch of leans-D people go "Ugh, the Clintons" by reflex, so they then don't vote. Similarly, I imagine such a consideration would drive them eventually picking Bush, because every Republican true believer will troop out to vote against Shriltlery while some slice of the leans-Democratic electorate has been programmed to go "Ugh, Bush vs Clinton, really? Ugh. Dynasty. I'll just skip the election."

Wait, is that what you think they think will happen, or is that what you think actually will happen? The hate the left has for the Bushes isn't as petty and childish as the rights hate for the Clinton, but extremist leftist purist idiots aside, I seriously doubt any Democrat could see a Bush and a Clinton and think that's not a choice worth making.

I think that a vocal group of people genuinely believe that every single Dem (and doubly so the Clintons) have trouble scheduling in all the union bribe taking and patriot killing they need to do in a day. Those in the media or wanting to fundraise see the dollar signs that pour in every time they run a story on it so...

To be fair, it isn't like we have a baseline "Republican" or "Democrat" to compare it to. Those probably beat out pretty much any of the demographic categories.

Not really. Harding, Kennedy, and Obama are the only Senators who've become President (without being VP in between) since the turn of the 20th Century.

I think it would have a small impact which could perhaps make the difference in a few Congressional or senatorial elections, but it would not change the outcome. However, I could see the Republican noise machine deciding it would be decisive and unskewing themselves into a frothing mix of Hillary-hate and lubricant.
