CirclMastr, garth claimed it first. If you want to be the solo player, you'll have to give me one stack of firewood. Are you willing to do that?

Team Two were the winners, with 271 points. Team Two Strong Mouse Chic Trombone AnonymousNarcotics CirclMastr DoggPickle solo: garthonneye Team One had 225 points. From Team Two... CirclMastr won immunity with 67 points. Chic Trombone, DoggPickle, and garthoneeye each scored 51 points and will share immunity for the Swole tribe. One player won an advantage in a future challenge. Nobody traded any coconuts, so the auction will remain unchanged. A terrible performance by all. You can head back to your original camps.

Fast Luck posted:I definitely disagree. I'm sure whatever it was that people were looking to accomplish, you could have still accomplished while actually playing the game that was designed for you to play. I mean to be fair we DID play the game - the one trade that occured was the only trade we needed to accomplish what we needed done, though.

I feel bad. I thought this was a cool game, but because of the particular situation, nobody really cared about winning - our only goals were to keep certain people from winning... and they weren't even here. So what can you do? I got immunity and I did JACK poo poo, besides laugh at other people playing cards. This isn't the moderator's fault, but just general bad timing. I'm pretty sure that most of us are of "one voice" at this point, and that's regardless of REAL LIFE or just being a jackass, if you never show up - we all want to play with players. I think this is pretty noble, plus nobody wants to get back-stabbed from some dude that only posted once and then pops up from HEYA OUTER SPACE and votes against you. Sorry about the crappy challenge. Personally, I'm in it to WIN IT

AnonymousNarcotics posted:I will actually do this because I have an amazing cookie recipe. As promised, my cookie recipe! Ingredients: 2 ½ cups almond meal ¼ tsp sea salt ¼ tsp baking soda 5 Tbsp butter 5 Tbsp apple butter 1 Tbsp vanilla ⅓ cup honey chocolate chips Directions: Preheat oven to 350 F Mix all of the dry ingredients together Melt the butter in a heat proof bowl and add the honey, vanilla, and apple butter Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix well Stir in the chocolate chips and spoon cookie-size balls onto a parchment lined baking sheet Bake for 15 minutes. Cookies should still be fairly soft when you take them out, they will harden somewhat as they cool. They should look like this when finished. Enjoy!

The apple butter (or whatever type you use: apricot is one of my other faves) is the important bit I think with anything other than a gluten-producing grain requires something naturally sticky or syrupy and giving it form with the butter; some would try to add more things like chocolate syrup, honey or - I posit - the apple butter. Subbing in regular flour would probably mean swapping out - or using less of - the peanut and apple butter in the recipe. There's more stiffness in the batter with the recipe provided and substituted.

I found that recipe online and it called for 10 Tbsps of butter and I was like holy crap that's a lot of butter, and I googled what I can substitute for some of the butter. Hence... Apple butter!

I'm guessing that the recipe may be for Mexican wedding cookies, which are notoriously dry.
