Was "running fine" when it was put away, will not start now.

Asking 10K.

She's gonna get me pictures sometime soon, but I'm going to pass on a non-running RX7 for $10K asking. Not in my budget, what with literally two days ago plunking down a deposit on a new car. If anyone else is interested, I'll post pics in the marketplace thread.

I'll give her $6k. It's going to need $1500 in parts just to R+R it.

My greatest regret is taking time to learn how to look after myself and my stuff. All this time learning how to fix my own poo poo, eg PC, electronics, HVAC, electrical and automotive skills mean jack. I earned them with a dream of being self sufficient and not really troubling anyone else.

I should have learnt how best to earn maximum income like investment banking or real estate, and then cry to government bodies like bbb about how my hard earned gets taken by some lower peon in the auto repair/restaurant industry who does me wrong somehow.
Being responsible in this world does not have any rewards.

The Orion program, along with SpaceX, should hopefully bolster some funds and interest.

One of my big nerd wishes is to be a non-pilot astronaut that does experiments in space, and age 30-45 is the prime for that. The candidate school requires you be moderately physically fit and have a bachelors in STEM, as well as at least three years experience. You have to have corrected 20/20 vision though, so I'm working on that part :unsmith:

This, too. This is probably my biggest disappointment with the world/government/etc. there was so much hope, once, and now that's all been pissed away in petty infighting and corporate (and personal) greed to no good end. I expected to be living on a space station or the moon by now, or at least flying cars. They'd have to be autonomous, though, because people drive badly enough on the ground...

Looks decent in the pictures, at least. Not a big fan of bass-boat metalflake, and I'm not certain about the SS stripes on a 'Vette, but not terrible. Kind of on the fence with the spoiler, too. Center-bolt valve covers, so it likely has modern heads. Hopefully there's no horrors lurking just out of sight.

You get charged the walk-in rate of 10 euros or whatever trivial sum, given your prescription, and sent on your way. Even if you and the doctor don't speak any shared language at all. Then the pharmacy charges you 5 euros for your antibiotics instead of $500.

It's some weird notion, I know, but it turns out most other civilized western countries believe that health care is a human right. And don't even require you to prove that you're a white landowning person (preferably male) to qualify as 'worthy' of these benefits.

I want a Kugel Komponents rwd kit for a Ford Focus but use a Ecoboost 2.3 instead of a 302 v8. Then I would drive it over Griggs Racing and let them work their magic on the front end like they do with Mustangs. I might even let them do the thing with the live axle rear end since getting an IRS back there would be :effort:. Then I would come back to Georgia and drive it off the side of Blood Mountain.

Edit: Or a FD Mazda Rx-7 with a Hartley v8. The Hartley v8 is two Hayabusa inline 4's butt hosed together at the crank. Around 400 hp and 10,000 rpm redline, a piston engine to do the character of a Rotary proud. Same idea that Radical uses on their v8's.
