I have never burnt myself out on making miniatures, but making all 80 of those for legion auxilla came very very close. None have been based and only half are painted and shaded but, hey they are cheap as can be. edit: Top of page? Have a terminator.

I don't know if this fits under the 'best' or 'worst' part of the thread but have a 'Space Marines Rogue Trader Imperial Dreadnought Metal':

It looks like a freaky Ghost Pokemon. Also I like the EXTINCTIO on the autocannon barrel.

Is that an actual model or something someone converted out of a screamer killer?

That is a Rogue Trader era Dreadnought. edit - Modified weaponry, probably, but the basic chassis is standard.

My favorite part of the old school models is the HR Giger (RIP) guns. Weird tubes and poo poo running through it. The old plasma cannon was a straight up dick. Awesome.

Because if you don't use all three all of the time, you lose 66% of your fire power. Besides, in the grim darkness of the far future nobody ever reloads so there is no need to conserve ammo. They just clear out the occasional weapon jam which only really happens when a Genestealer is running down a corridor towards you.

So the skulls reliefs have gun turrets in their eye sockets, but there's no gun turret in the giant relief sculpture of an actual gun? You're right; that is authentic 40K.
