I was curious to see how conservatives seem to react to that story, since I haven't seen any self identified conservative donate to that dude's GoFundMe page. Most right-wing sites ignored it entirely, but there was a thread about it on Freep: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3288956/posts?q=1&;page=1 Was actually somewhat surprised. Most of the reactions are basically "gently caress him". There's a few in there that of course blame Obama for interfering with the free market and thus making health insurance supposedly too expensive for this guy to get. But for the most part, nobody's really coming to bat for this dude.

It's my fault for turning on CNN, I know. But I am troubleshooting some laptop problems and saw "Blindsided: How ISIS Shook The World" and thought, "Ok, I'll leave that on in the background." My mistake. This is a paraphrase of the narration from a few minutes ago: "ISIS makes videos that are heavy on sophisticated graphics and powerful music. They also feature brutal acts of violence, which makes them go viral. 'Why,' you might ask, 'could such brutality actually attract followers?' It appeals to young people, raised on violent video games and movies, etc..." That's still a thing? Beck mentions a poll (none of the other hosts/yesmen had heard of) that 50% of liberals approve of socialism and capitalism the same with all the enthusiasm of someone who had just completed a checkmate at a world championship chess match.
