I definitely think it has the possibility to change the narrative experience, but I've found that the non MU ones do a good job of ensuring you don't lose stuff. For non GV options I tend to switch with landscape and up and down, but sometimes I use one page per screen...but less so because it sucks for my eyes on my 9 inch tablet.

Civil war is pretty cool for the Frontline stuff but a lot of the motivations for who is on what side make no sense.

Rirse posted:I am curious, why on the sales page for Comixology it has for the entire month random #1 issues on sale for a dollar. Those have to do with the different 'Worlds' in Secret Wars. They are usually there to just act as a quick primer for what each world is and the main players. Marvel did the same thing in print, offering all these issues at a $1 each.

Re: the IDW sale. I already have Locke and Key. TMNT just doesn't see to quite do it for me in the couple issues I've checked out. (I might consider it once it's in some sense a finished series, or the volume ends or whatever.) I know the Roberts Transformers is supposed to be good, but same feeling as TMNT for me. I should probably get The Maxx (though again, I really wish they had the whole series for sale...) Anything else worth a look?

They don't have the entire series of The Maxx because they are currently in the process of reprinting remastered versions of the book. They haven't finished with it all as of now.

But, like, do I HAVE to read any of those. I read the main TMNT run without reading the micro series (I got those later). I'm already way past where Secret History of the Foot Clan, Ultron Empire, and Turtles in Time took place and don't feel like I missed much. The Ghostbusters crossover doesn't interest me. I think I'm just going to go with Turtles in Time as I have nostalgia for that title thanks to the game. Edit: and Mutanimals because Pigeon Pete!
