Sadly I could not record it but recently I took a boat to the Isle of Fyke and when I arrived, I exited the boat and for some reason geralt wobbled for a half second and bam, teleported 100 meters in the air before falling. Luckily I fell in the water just besides the boat and I didn't die.

Actually, yes. The ghosts take up all the memory reserved for sprites, so when the player tries to use the warp whistle, the whirlwind overwrites something way more important in memory.

Very rarely under very specific conditions source games will decide a particular 3D model should be drawn rotated 90 degrees from its actual rotation. It used to happen with the base gates in TF2 fairly often near launch, but yesterday I saw it happen to a dota playermodel. It rotated all his particle systems too so whenever he used his spin attack it looked like a buzzsaw.

Because you can customize every single part of Geralt's appearance (haircut and facial hair included), each individual piece of his outfit and body is a separate model that is attached to an invisible skeleton. His head is the central part of the model and the part that controls the rest of the character, but if something somewhere model related fucks up, the game has no idea what to animate where and it just smacks all the parts in their default positions and facing angles. But they can't take control away from the player at random because it's a bug, so the head (which controls the rest of Geralt) and therefore the player can still move around and do whatever. edit: In fact, in the inventory menu if you swap outfit parts fast enough and Geralt hasn't been shirtless in a while, his torso will just up and vanish for a few second before popping in the new outfit, especially if you're playing on a high graphics setting.

This is kind of a long shot, but a few years ago I saw some videos of a guy playing the japanese version of Metal Gear Solid 3, and he had just completely broken the system over his knee; he was doing dumb poo poo like walking back to back with guards who couldn't see him (because he was behind them), wearing a bright orange jumpsuit, placing loads of pornography to distract guards, and setting up wildly improbable and meticulously staged opportunities for screenshots; in one he got something like eight or nine guards to pass out simultaneously, and in another he managed to snap a photo of the exact moment that a guard standing on a roof passed out and fell on the head of another guard who was being held up by Big Boss. Does this ring a bell for anybody, and can anybody provide links to the videos? I feel like they qualify as game glitches in that they're definitely pushing the engine to things which were not naturally intended, so hopefully this is a reasonable place to try and find them.

I know exactly what you're talking about, but I can't find it either, since I think the original video was in japanese. It was hilarious.
