Ugh, had a nasty loser streak going on. Charger-type weapons require some level of markmanship, and I just wasn't leveling it. So I switched style and picked up the Blaster. The fact that you can hit 'em even behind corners and under platforms with area damage makes it an ideal weapon to clear out nasty ambushers in the vicinity. It's also a drat good close quarter weapon since one direct hit knocks them out. The sub is somewhat useless, tho'.

Later on you get the rapid blaster, which has the bubbler, but it loving sucks, but luckily also there's a custom blaster later after that which also has the bubbler. So I have no idea what the point of the rapid blaster is

Speaking of Mario sunshine - paid dlc/sequel should have a jetpack special that leaves a trail of ink below you. Mobility, coverage and jetpack, it has all the thing I want (the thing being jetpacks).

Just put FLUDD in Splatoon as a super fast jetpack so people have trouble shooting it down while it also paints the floor

They should just add a 4v4v1 mode where one dude is Mario running around with FLUDD cleaning both teams ink If Mario loses he gets arrested and has to watch the opening cutscene of Mario Sunshine

I might be crazy but is ink resistance really good? I got a pair of shoes with it before playing today and got splatted way less than I normally do. Feels like its a lot easier to avoid getting killed when tripping over a tiny puddle of ink doesn't kill your mobility.

I've decided the charger class is utter trash. It's a poo poo pee pee gun that isn't good for anything other than lovely scores and painting a thin straight line that doesn't accomplish anything. Thanks for reading.

Five.... Five whole rounds I have managed to play since the weekend because this game loves to say that I am not offering it two terra bytes per second of data to make the floor a different colour! Lord knows I've tried, I've played at different times of the day, pushed my router closer to the Wii U, turned off all other devices but nope the second I get in to a match and squirt my ink. I am told the connection is unstable within 30 seconds and back to the lobby with me. Nintendo I really want to play your game but c'mon this poo poo needs to be sorted out! I don't care if someone has 999 ping and is teleporting across the map just let me stay in the game for three minutes! I have only noticed a few people mention this to be a concern. I hope it is something that has been addressed and is just a net code problem. I am doomed to stay at level 3 and be so "unfresh".

It may be ovvious, but I see you didn't mention it, so I'll ask: did you try restarting your router and/or modem? I was frequently disconnecting at first, but after restarting my router have been fine...

My only regret is you can't save some of the amazing stuff you see in this game. A guy on our team was sitting at the high point in the middle of the Skate Park when someone launched an ink strike at him he did the most amazing squid dive off the top as the world was exploding around him. I was in awe.

I don't really mind cosmetic stuff being exclusive to the amiibos at all but gameplay does annoy me. Is there any plans to let non-Splatoon amiibos be compatible with Splatoon? I remember in Hyrule Warriors you could use any amiibo to get bonus items. Would be nice to get free money or something from all the amiibos my brother keeps buying.
