I should expect questions of course, what with the different and new themes/challenges, etc. I might have to clarify the monthly things in the OP The TECHNICAL challenge is to feature water in some way. Snow, mud, still, flowing, etc., water is good. The THEME challenge is travel of some type to a holiday destination. So some sort of vehicle, but even a wheel, steering wheel, hell even a traffic sign. Just remember you're being judged for the application of either of the challenges, you don't have to do both to get your point. quote:Speaking of things that are notionally in the OP, is the spreadsheet appearing at any point?

Dang it Bobby! I, LordAba, oath in June 4 venomthropes and 6 tyranid based objectives (from Games Workshop), and most of the Grabby Hands spawn point (from Soda Pop Games Super Dungeon Explore) including 2 grabby house, 1 shamble priest, 2 prowlers, 1 pudge, and 6 swampies. The grabby hands set comes with 2 pudges, and I already practiced the skin tones on one, so it is in the shot but won't be part of the oath. The purple on the grabby dudes is the plastic color coming through the primer. Going to add water effects to one of the objectives, and it should grab me "I rolled a 6!" as well. Oh yes, there will be a beach themed story attached to this oath. Yes indeed.

I, Pyrolocutus, oath one Nightmare Edition Whiskey Golem from Wyrd Games, as well as one Sewer Base (50mm) from Wyrd Games. The flash washed out the minutes thing, but I trust it's enough that the oath was made on Tuesday the 2nd, 2015, and that GMT is shown below it so as to indicate minutes. The four things in front are various Gremlins hanging off the Golem, as seen in the below render. They are currently kept separate for the painting process, and I'll be gluing them on after. i, nesbit37, oath for the month of June 24 Mahud raiders and one camel mounted Mahud king all in 10mm. The miniatures are all Pendraken Mahdist Camelry, some of which I added green stuff mumakil tusks to the sides of their camels. The king is a Mahdist Camelry unit with the rider cut off at the waist and a pendraken Zulu chieftain attached in its stead with some other minor green stuff conversions added. Much more modest than last month since I am moving and expect to have a lot less painting time. If I get these done quick ill do some oath additions, probably Dwarven forge cavern water tiles for the technical challenge.

You can still claim your prizes If you think you are owed a prize, please check the Prize Winners! post links in the Season 5 OP. Even if you haven't claimed something from June 2014, you have until the end of June 2015 to claim it. I think I previously said everyone has until the end of May but there are still several folks who haven't claimed their prizes. If you're not listed or haven't gotten in touch yet, please EMAIL me at krushgroove169 at gmail.com, put 'Oath Thread Prize for [your username]' in the title of the email, included your real name and mailing address as well as the prize you're claiming. We have been let down by a couple of prize sponsors Not gonna beat around the bush, Games & Gears and Dragon Forge have let us down. There's been zero replies coming back for months, and I personally have given up trying to get them to honor their pledges of support. If you're owed the Ichiban Brushes from Games & Gears, we have a direct replacement sponsor that has already been part of the team. You are welcome to a big set of Springer-Pinsel brushes which includes everything you need to replace all your crappy dead brushes, and even has several Kolinsky sable brushes, which is presumably what the G&G brushes use. There's also a big selection of synthetic brushes in flat and round, ranging from size 4 to 00000 (that's FIVE zeros). Seriously, if you'd started with this set of brushes when you first discovered model painting, you would be the envy of your friends. Please support Springer-Pinsel by telling your friends to buy Army Painter brushes! If you're owed a pack of Dragon Forge bases (and there are a lot of you that haven't received prizes), it's a bit different because we have no other direct replacement sponsor. If you want something (and I don't blame you at all), you are welcome to pick something from the Grab Bag (see the links in the OP) - it isn't ideal and it's not the same but it's the best I can offer. I have added a lot of new Grab Bag items in the UK/EU Grab Bag from a huge bitz buy I did a couple months ago, so everyone who was drawn to get a Dragon Forge set of bases is welcome to that. Prizes cost ££ to send out Be forewarned, this is a request for shipping funds to help send out prizes to you good folks. There are several goons that donate their time, effort and yes even cash to keep the thread going: Iris of Ether maintains the North American Grab Bag, sending out bits that have already criss-crossed the continent from various goons Stabbington sends out his quarterly prize of Warmachine starter sets Leperflesh continues to amaze us all with his selection of super hard-to-find game models (all of which are, inevitably, metal and very heavy) krushgroove maintains the UK/EU Grab Bag and stores the majority of prizes that sponsors donate to us ...and these are just the physical prizes, there are other goons like Dagon who gave out prizes for 'virtual' items The reason why I keep most of the prizes on hand is because most of the sponsors I'm able to get stuff from are based in the UK or EU, and they prefer to send out one big package rather than a bunch of parcels to the various winners. Unfortunately, all of these things cost me individually a lot of money to send out. Well over half of the Oath Thread participants are in the US, and postage for the smallest items is about £4 (or $7 or so) each for one thin, light envelope of brushes to cross the pond, and that's without any insurance, tracking, the added weight of multiple sheets of MDF or bottles of paint, and also before adding in the cost of padded envelopes, should I have to buy any. Some companies like Badger and CMoN when they sponsored us, have US/EU distribution channels, which really helps us out - but for Season 6 only KR is able to do this for us (lucky for us, considering the size of the prizes they've sent out!). With the number of things getting sent out, this means that inevitably some things will get lost in the postal system. The tracking option with signature on delivery basically doubles the postage cost for envelopes and small padded envleopes. All this is to say that by default from now on everything I send out will be using the cheapest option, without tracking. However, if you want to chip in as a prize winner or you just want to help out, get in touch. With extra help I can pay for tracking to make sure you get your loot. I will leave it up to the other good people who mail things out to decide if they will accept or refuse any help with the postage costs...but looking at the stack of things I've got, I won't refuse any help that's offered! e: Another way you can help is to defer your prizes until the end of the Oath Season, this is entirely optional but does help save a bit of money. Thread regulars did this last time, in Season 5, and with the help of Gmail's email search function and threaded conversations it's easy to catch up with prize choices for various people. krushgroove fucked around with this message at 13:26 on Jun 4, 2015 |

So what's the deal with the KR Multicase these guys have Oathed? Why, it's our first-ever Sponsored Sponsor Contest! The first Sponsored Sponsor Contest is just for one of our greatest sponsors, KR MULTICASE! This contest will take place throughout JUNE So...what does this involve? Basically, you just need to do 2 things: 1) own a KR Multicase box, bag or other model carrying device, and 2) decorate it in some fashion using your artistic skill and tools! The only stipulation is that the cardboard case, fabric bag or metal case must be a KR Multicase product (if in doubt, just post a picture of what you've got and ask), your artwork must include the KR logo and your artwork must not cover the KR logo. Every person that completes decorating their KR case during the month of June will be entered into a prize draw to win a brand new KR Multicase Aquila case! Perfect for holding a small group of models for games like D&D, Malifaux, Necromunda, Blood Bowl and a ton of other games. (If you're wondering about figuring out the date stamp for this particular thing, I haven't thought of a way to do the date stamp on something as distinctive as the KR cardboard box, apart from mailing out barcodes to everyone...if anyone has any ideas just let me know, otherwise it'll just be 'have fun!')
