Deadpool was created after Deathstroke (by the artist who had just left the latter's book), yet I often see non-comic reader/TV watchers confuse the two. The resemblance was deliberate from the the start.

Deadpool was created by Rob Liefeld & Fabian Nicieza, and was supposed to be more of a gun-toting version of Spider-Man (cracking jokes and being all nimble & poo poo). :goonsay:

This also makes it pretty much exactly like a modern comic book, so if anything it's genre-authentic.

Deathstroke is Slade Wilson, Deadpool is Wade Wilson. He's tied to both.

It starts off kind of slow, but the latter half of season 1 and all of season 2 are awesome.

Also, it produced a Flash spinoff that's really really good.

sad state of the mainstream comics. A reason why tonnes of women, and men, can't get enough of things like Rat Queens.

Of course you can't. It take a real man to pull off that pose.

I don't know if you were being 100% serious or not, but if you do a google image search there is at least one more picture from that set in which she is doing the Superman arms akimbo thing.
