And I am still absolutely confused on wargaming's choice of it considering as mentioned in this article to be an experimental vehicle to test various system including a new turret turret but without a mantlet. quote:The dominance of the firepower was, however, undisputed. At first, the British looked at some rather unorthodox solutions – one (as well as attempts to cut the cost of such vehicles) was the Prodigal project. This was an attempt to create a very light (and cheap) tank killer. There were multiple Prodigal variants (some for example with twin 120mm recoilless guns) and some were so small they could, with a bit of exaggeration, be classified as tankettes. The pinnacle of Prodigal development was a 30 ton vehicle equipped with an automatically-loaded 120mm L11 variant, found recently in the archives by David Lister

I detest playing artillery. Three hits out of twenty-two shots fired. How the gently caress do you miss the side of a JgPz E100 sitting on a hill in the open. Five times? gently caress you SU-14-2.

The Su26 was my favorite arty. So much so that I kept it in my lineup and got a 100% crew for it and some modules. I tried playing it for a few games and it is now dogshit. What happened?

The triple-digit caliber howitzer was removed and only the 76mm infantry guns were left. Now it's just a Panzer III that gets to shoot tier 3 tanks in the roof.

It's now the only arty that you should never use HE in. Zero splash, zero pen, and not enough bonus damage to damage tanks you can't pen.

Well that explains it. I really dislike that they would fundamentally change a tank like that. I mean I get moving a few numbers around but holy poo poo. Also did they change the RNG for arty? I missed so many shots when I was completely dialed in.

Yeah, they changed the dispersion so that shots go close to the center, but not exactly in the center. Of course this had the added bonus of screwing over arty.

What I've learned today: Dandy's brother drinks white wine spritzers...and is a total pansy. Adrudh can not order pizza online properly. My food choices are in fact "Crazy" and that the AMX 13 French arties shooting APCR is some of the funniest poo poo when you're hitting things. Also I don't know what has changed in my play but I am hovering around 60% WR for my last 60 days 63% in the last 30 and 65.5% for for my last ~120. Now the question is if that's just a coincidence or if something has actually clicked with me again and I'm able to sustain it.

And the AT2 is probably the most fun out of all the British TDs. I recall that it has the highest percentage of shots bounced off its armor in the game. The rest of the line is slow, various amounts of front armor and excellent gun handling with no alpha.

Don't get me wrong, the AT2 is hilarious if you can 1: deal with going at painfully slow speeds and 2: get people that don't know how to aim at the cupola/mantlet, but the Alecto is just pure, unbridled fun. I mean poo poo, it has a bigger gun than an ELC, at tier 4. gently caress, it's a better artillery peice than the tier 4 brit artillery. That thing has a smaller weapon, worse accuracy and a slower fire rate!

Any CW gold earned during the event would be put toward subsidizing the members' 12k gold purchase of the IS-5, and then for CW 2.0 those IS-5s will be used to earn the clan resources and influence in strongholds. Also, I really want to grind down that AMX light like and am half way through the elc but just can't get it to click. If I play it like a mobile light I just get 1 shot within the first minute. If I stay back and try to play it like a TD, I either get TKed by my team for "not scouting" or the awful pubbies just camp and we get rolled before I can put mor than 2 shots into anything. Mephistopheles posted:Hmm... I'm pooping right now! The proper way to drive the ELC is to run around your team's side of the map for the first 4 minutes never taking your finger off W. Score points for rad jumps and kick flips and poo poo (try not to inflict too much damage on yourself in the process). By the end of the match nobody will know what the hell you actually did and thus can't call you out for not doing anything. If you get a chance, in between turning small bumps into amazing evil kinevil type jumps, it would help to kill some arty.

While doing radical kick flip jumps in your ELC feel free to auto aim snap shot enemies while mid air to score sic bonus points.

The key to the ELC and scout tanks in general is to never engage an enemy when you are the sole focus of his attention. Either passive or active scout until enemies become spread out then find alone or distracted targets to attack. Patience and the willingness to hold fire or disengage are key.
