The town I used to live in has dozens roaming free in one of the parks. IIRC they are actually the town emblem/mascot, whatever. They often wander out of the park and roam around the streets and sometimes wander into shops either delighting or terrifying people. Never seen one fly, but they are often spotted on rooftops making a loving racket, especially in the morning during mating season. I'll see if I can dig out some of my pics of them looking majestic as gently caress in strange places

Well, this appears to double as the 'post your pets' thread, so I figure I might as well picspam our resident beastie:    She's never been very bright, and is getting a bit old and leaky, but on the plus side, she's much more appreciative of a good cuddle these days.
