Most disaster movies at least give someone to root for, even if they are a handsome youngish male of the same ethnicity as the producer and audience. This, has nothing. And this story goes so far as to say that everyone deserves to die due to their meaningless existences.

New immortal hounds out, on mobile and too lazy to link it, but I am going to say it's probably best if folks just stop reading it for a while until poo poo starts getting revealed because right now it's pretty much just torture porn. Almost nothing happened this chapter outside of repeated beating and disemboweling of the 'heroes' by their ridiculously evil bosses. Like they're so cartoonishly evil that I can't really bother with the series until some kind of big reveal about the nature of immortality in that world comes up because they've been pussyfooting around it since the beginning, and the UNDO gently caress dangling it in your face chapter after chapter is so undeserving of tension and boring

It's similar to people complaining about the Dressrosa arc dragging in the One Piece thread, they just want it to get on with it. i just read all of dorohedoro in three or so days and im real mad i didn't start reading it sooner because i didn't like the name (I really like the name now especially knowing more about it) but i'm also mad i didn't wait until it was done

The antagonists are all super well characterized and I really enjoyed how alot of the chapters had them just doing regular poo poo.

Everything about it is just so much better and more unique than 99% of other fantasy/sci-fi manga. Almost all fantasy settings seem to share a bunch of standard tropes, but Dorohedoro just invents its setting from the ground up. It's easily one of my top 3 favorite manga. edit: There is one thing that I think could have been done better.
