Samus' sprite is too big for the tiny screen and I remember getting lost/trapped a lot where I couldn't find the one metroid to unlock the next area, but it still introduced a lot of cool power-ups and has an even better feeling of isolation/exploration IMO than the original.

Hunters was pretty fun to play with other kids on the bus to school, but the singleplayer was pretty rear end.

I'm pretty sure I used a Nintendo Power volume to find my way around MII at least :shobon:

E: Guess that would be of no help to a poor Brit like Sakurazuka though. I can't recall if they had a NP equivalent.

Would be kind of curious if they make a Metroid post-fusion though just to see what they would come up with, since that set-up doesn't leave much room for another isolated station/planet. Course Adam would still be around and that will still upset people, but I don't mind him as an AI.

That would be cool and I'm okay with the fusion suit as long as they don't reuse the horrendous varia and gravity colors for it.
