I dislike the top of the charts theory because it prioritizes sticking with a gimmick over choosing an ED that fits. That's not to say All Star wouldn't fit, but it suggests they'd just go with whatever No. 1 was regardless of whether it worked or not.

Whatever they do, I hope they do something special for the ep where Fatty bites it because that's kind of a turnaround in the series towards "let's focus on getting this rear end in a top hat" and I dunno how well whatever song they choose would go with that fight's ending.

There are really two places where they could split the season, depending on how they pace it. It could be after Fatty's death, or after People of Morioh. I'd kinda prefer the latter because it's more of the official turning point, but they're not really that far from each other.

I'd also prefer the People of Morioh as the cliffhanger, though that'd place Cinderella as the first fight of season two which is kind of an odd note to start on (though I guess that's kind of unavoidable).

Fatty's death sounds like a good turning point. End the season with a glimpse of the main villain and next season starts with the investigation into him.
