I tried to watch Cobbler the adam sandler movie until he started wearing shoes that turned him into other people then i turned it off. I think the movie would have been better if it was just the day to day regular activities of a cobbler with steve buschemi next door making a few jokes.

Tim & Eric are the best comedy duo around. Sort of related, I really wish they'd put Xavier: Renegade Angel on streaming, because it is the best show ever made.

I've been watching Between on Netflix, and it's not very good. It sounded like it was going to be a mystery, but there isn't really any mystery. There isn't much drama either. The characters are hardly characters, they lack personality and I don't give a poo poo about any of them. I'm going to finish it, but I'm not expecting much.

It's also really dumb to release weekly episodes on Netflix. Your "binge-a-season" model isn't broken, don't fix it!

They just added Transformers: Age of Extinction, and I have to say, this movie sucks so bad it's ridiculous. They have a guy carry around a card in his wallet validating the legality of his underage relationship, and between him and the yellow car, I couldn't understand 40% of the speech in the movie.

I'm pretty sure there wasn't a storyline. There were way too many main characters, to the point where you'd forget certain ones existed. The movie is 2.5 hours long. The lead underage girl looks like someone pointed an airbrush directly at her face. Nothing is accomplished. I could go on forever about how Michael Bay needs to be shot out of a cannon.

Xavier is one of those shows that, by any measure, should have been the worst type of insufferable "monkey cheese lol" random humor poo poo but it manages to be one of the funniest things Adult Swim ever produced.

Stanley Tucci, and what I am completely convinced were ad-libbed asides and one-liners, is the only gem in that turd of a movie.

I swear he has a super-power or something. No matter how much a movie sucks, he always shines.

I just watched this last night and completely agree. Also. It seems like it went through several re-writes, as the editing and storylines do not mesh together well at all; plot lines are picked up and dropped randomly, new characters are added and then forgotten, and the "transforming" aspect is of little to no value to the movie itself. In a word: trash. It frankly amazes me that this is one of the highest grossing movies of all time (seriously, go look it up; domestic sales were lackluster, but it killed internationally).

between literal card-carrying not-a-pedo boyfriend and the non-robot alien tentacle tongue wrapping around and crawling up the leg of short-shorts clad teen girl, i think michael bay needs to be on some sort of watchlist.

what a bizarre film though! Just completely bonkers artistic decisions all throughout, like how the bumper sticker on Wahlberg's truck was blatantly CG'ed in or how a wooden fencepost throws a shower of sparks upon being run over or the slow pan across crushed and burning bud light bottles or in the middle of a huge firefight Wahlberg gently nodding in agreement after watching a samurai robot slice one robot in half then throw its sword into another robot.

I started this while my fiancé (who to my knowledge has never played Halo in her life) was busy with something, kind of expecting it to be unwatchable except for nostalgia. She caught the end of one episode, laughed a ton, and threw it on when we were looking for something funny to watch.

I think without my idiot high school friends quoting entire episodes day in and day out it kinda feels fresh again.

I accidentally watched Young Ones because I confused it for The Rover, but it was actually good, despite the weird soundtrack and the very shaky American accents.

Watch it if you want to see Nicolas Hoult be villainous in a post apocalyptic wasteland where people kill for water. Also Michael Shannon is in it.

I need your help thread. This weekend I'm gonna be doing 3 consecutive 9 hour night shifts where I will have nothing to do. It's basically gonna be 27 hours of just me and my computer so I was thinking of just binging on a show to keep me awake. I have access to Netflix and HBO Nordic which to my knowledge has pretty much every HBO series.

Due to studies and having a kid I haven't really watched a lot of TV shows the last few years, so just throw whatever you really like at me. Even stuff you think that EVERYONE has seen, I'm pretty sure I haven't seen it. I have seen Breaking Bad though as the only recent and majorly popular show that springs to mind.

Also, I was thinking of watching that movie Nightcrawler since I hear it's very good. Yay or nay?
