I dig Ishii when he's at his best but all his matches run together for me. as for Trevor's best stuff it's probably either the triple threat from Mystery Vortex II, the Roddy match from From Out of Nowhere, or the Speedball match from Don't Sweat the Technique. Yeah the triple threat and his match with Speedball are definitely Trevor's best in PWG thus far. The triple threat is particularly remarkable because the crowd goes from not having a clue who he is to loving the poo poo out of him over the course of a fifteen minute match. I just don't especially like Ishii because like Oatgan said all of his matches are kind of the same, and as much as I love dudes who do lots of powerbombs I am so over watching him stare dead-eyed at the other guy after getting elbowed in the face. I remember people losing their minds over his Wrestle Kingdom match and it just did nothing for me at all. It doesn't help that he's been feuding with a guy I like even less for months.

Thanks guys I've seen some of his PWG stuff but not any of those matches. And yeah, the Ishii vs Makabe feud has been pretty dreadful and gone on way too long, I'm just attributing most of the blame to Makabe there based on recent work.

Also, I've already mentioned how young he is in this thread but that PWG debut match happened in March of last year so he was 20 at the time when he blew a super hardcore indie crowd away. It's insane how good he already is for his age, the sky really is the limit for him. There's a reason why guys like Steen and Hero are calling him the future of indie wrestling.
