Is the sea line a woman trying to force feminism into a discussion about videogames? Or is it a fedora getting unreasonably outraged that someone finds videogames sexist.

Not a comic, but the other day a girl I work with told me a thing. She's a typical gurlgamer who does youtube LPs and is one of those chronic liar types. You know the kind that claim a one-up of everything you say or do. She told me she "hacked google" one time. Anyways, I told her about an idea for a short story I had and she said it would fit in well with some compendium of short stories she is publishing. Her story is about a "neighborhood in the 50s where every house has a mirror you can use that will allow you to completely change the way you look. But it only works for you and if it breaks, you can never change your appearance again." I called her on how that's literally the Fallout 4 character creation screen and she said she's been working on this story for YEARS, so she couldn't have gotten the idea from that thing that was just announced that is the same thing as the story she claims she's writing. That's my story. Toodles.

Son of Thunderbeast posted:Did the concept of fanfiction even exist in the 1300s? I don't get it. Most of Dante's Inferno's characters were friends, enemies or political figures contemporary to Dante Aligheri in real life, who he gave ironic punishments to based on imagined (or in some cases actual) transgressions. You could almost say it was fanfic of his own life at a stretch.
