Chris-Chan is the tale of a crazy person who was already fairly lovely getting made more crazy and more lovely by legions of idiots hugging their internet punching bag too hard. I never actually watched these before but just watching the current one it seems to be a fairly 'respectful' review, not crazy obsessive, just 'ha ha look at this loving weird poo poo made by a crazy person'.

I really wish that CWC had been left to just keep doing that weird little comic; she's a bizarre individual, but too many people just dedicated their time to harassing her, which isn't really as fun as watching someone make weird fantasies rewriting their life because they can't understand why events happened.

The lack of his own opinion makes the show into more of a fact-sheet than a review, and well he does say he likes it at the end, he doesn't really say why so much as he points out what other people complain about and contextualizes those moments, which is both shallow and beside the point.

Goddamn, that was a pointless video. It's like he just found a bunch of info from different featurettes and strung them together into a script. He says it was "WAY better than the mess that was JP2" and then moves on to box office sales without expanding on that. Wouldn't want to have to defend an opinion in a video series about "Good Bad Flicks."

Best part of the review was the Longbox of the Damned: Midsummer Nightmare advert at the end.  That's been pretty much all I've watched of Linkara for a while now, since he typically goes on way too long for his reviews when he doesn't have much to say about most terrible comics, though I noticed that this episode clocked in at under 20 minutes so I may start checking back again. I do wish he'd tone back the loud voice, though, you're not in an auditorium dude, your mic is like, right there! Use your indoor voice more! You can, in fact, speak clearly while also not speaking loudly.
