I remember Cartoon Network Australia's Toonami Blocks. We never got movies, just a rotation of Tenchi Muyo, Cowboy Bebop and Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 on Fridays, and Orphen, Trigun and Inuyasha on Saturdays. Neon Genesis got mixed in there too on Saturdays at some point as well.

As a kid i was introduced to anime thru Warriors of the Wind and Robotech (not on toonami, on broadcast afternoon network tv) i'm old this is terrible

My middle school internet usage was limited primarily to PlanetNamek.net, bad AMVs from Ginga GiriGiri, and checking my email and chatting with random dorks on dbz.com.

I remember one of the early forums I went to had a FTP hosting "high quality" Tenchi Muyo episodes at 80 MB a pop which was far more than I was willing to download at the time.
