A glance at the first page shows that the forum has lost most of its diversity and has instead become very shounen-centric, scaring aways most of the interesting posters by catering to a progressively younger audience. That sort of environment seems to be what you want though and I'm impressed with your diligence and resilience in realizing this vision.

As a further step, you should replace the misfortunate acronym ADTRW with a more appropiate name that doubles as a marker of your moderatorship - Gattai would be my suggestion.

We made progress with this on some level, but this is something that truly will never end. (god this sounds a bit ridiculous, but bear with me here)

Of course there are bad anime, and bad anime fans. There will always be. There are massive issues with the industry behind it in both Japan and the West, obviously. Proselytizing against these fundamental truths won't get anywhere. Even still, some rather thin negatives don't invalidate an entire medium of artistic expression.

There will always be people who dislike anime. Personal taste exists, after all. And it's stupid to try to be abrasive and pick arguments with people who dislike anime. Their criticisms are often quite justified, even if they are overly broad and hardly representative of all works. But by pushing certain good series, keeping a positive and open atmosphere, and being responsive and open to questions, I think we can continue to shape outside opinion for the better.

As I said last year, it's a very pie in the sky goal that will truly never end. So onwards we go.
