I like that they tried to get Gas Monkey Garage but they're too busy to do a build-off. "So, apparently these guys over at Roadkill (ever heard of them?) are challenging us to a build off. I guess they think we have nothing better to do. I mean, it's not like we're busy building 5 cars at once for the new season of Fast N' Loud or racing up a 14,000-foot mountain at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb right now or anything. We've got priorities! But, if we did have the time... what do y'all think?"

From the angle he hit at all the G forces must have been towards his back and feet. Would that have been survivable at any other angle? That was a hell of a sudden stop.

Probably not, though that new gen car they have has been put through some terrible crashes. We still haven't seen what happens in a driver's door impact, though. He bruised his tailbone, so yeah, that energy went straight through his rear end. Two feet earlier and he goes right through that fence, that pole needs a goddamn medal.

All things considered it was spread out over about a second though, which is a good deal more gentle than the last time #3 wrecked at Daytona. That fence probably saved his life vs smacking a wall.

Yeah, head on into a wall at that speed is bad news. Kyle Busch hit an unprotected part of the wall at Daytona in February, slower and at a shallower angle, and shattered his leg. So, yeah.
