I started that one, although the best of it came from another Ball Pit user when I ran out of steam early on when making it. It's been in the hopper for a while now, but I don't know if it's a good idea to go back and try to pad it out a little more just to be safe because I don't know when, or if there's been a recording yet. I've been a little concerned about the length of the document, since poems tend to be very vertical which makes the submission look a lot longer than it really is.

At first I was confused by the readers' disgust at the idea of cheese and jelly together. I've had Brie with preserves on crackers before and it's quite delicious. Then the "processed cheese product" came out and I remembered what site we're on.

Oh my god, that second one (IV). The food episodes are the ones that legitimately baffle me. None of these can be meaningfully healthier than a real apple pie, and they can't possibly taste as good. All that trouble to make overrich crap that's a facsimile of something better that can't possibly take much more money or time. "I love a two-person steak dinner! But what if instead I buy three pounds of hamburger, spend over an hour sculpting it to sort of look like a dozen steaks, then drown them in Lowry's red salt and Worcestershire sauce?"

I can understand people buying deep-fried whatevers at state fairs, because it's quick and easy to just order a thing. But what gets me is putting in the effort to prepare all the stuff to make 7up jello salad or whatever other hell dish, when it's more expensive and time consuming than just making a simple sponge cake that's bound to taste better.

But don't you see I "don't like apples" yet want to eat an entire apple pie for some reason!!! Maybe they've been fed some really lovely apple pies in their lives, and thus make lovely representations of what they wish they wanted without having the sense of mind to realize that it's not really the apples' fault. I think my favourite one I've listened to so far was the ballbusting one, largely because of how thoroughly broken Adam Bozarth is by the end of it. "I used to one of those people that really liked people, but now I see what they write, and how they lie, ..." (the bit that goes something like that) puts me in stitches from having my scrote ripped open every time I hear it But the whole episode is pretty amazing.

Adam Bozarth is great in general. His sketch comedy podcast Left Handed Radio is really good too (granted I'm only like 5 episodes in so far, but I like it).

As he was once introduced, he's "a goddamn professional comedian." One of my favorite moments with Bozarth was in I think the ball torture episode, when he wondered what the deal was with the Internet's fascination with precum. I am forever tickled by his shocked horror-laugh when Boots interrupted Jack's explanation to say "It is the tastiest cum."

Because you grew up with it. There are a lot of foods like that that seem gross to people who didn't grow up with them but are nostalgic comfort foods to people who did. I would never feed anyone else the white trash poo poo I ate growing up, like beef stroganoff made with Campbell's cream of mushroom soup, but I still need to make it for myself once every few years because I get a craving for it and to me it's delicious even though I know it's garbage food for garbage people.

Since all the episodes are great to me, I have a hard time recommending people a starting point. What are some good episodes to point a new listener toward? I'm thinking the wikihow episodes and the cooking episodes, since they're pretty much hilarious start to finish.
