I forget the name of the adaptive chestpiece - it's named after the protagonist from the old republic SW comic, the head piece is orange BH armor (heavy). Maybe there's an adaptive version though. Root around on torfashion and you should find the pieces.

Nobody will take damage while you wait for the shield to drop off. It's slow but trivializes the whole encounter. The rest of the bosses shouldn't be a problem.

Every time I try to play this game after I hit play it just hangs on a loading screen. I googled around and didn't see anything recent about this problem.

When that happened to me I had to delete the preferences file to reset to default. It's called client_settings in AppData/local/swtor/swtor/settings. Just delete it and the game will recreate it next run.

Hahahaha, people on the BW forums are melting down over the sanctions of the 1 credit chair sellback thing. In fact, some are calling for action to be taken against Eric Musco's account/job since he gave the details of the exploit when he said "here's how it works, now don't do it and don't claim you didn't know" as it's "against TOS rules to call out and describe an exploit".

I love the people that went to extreme lengths to cheat. Created secondary accounts, got millions of credits, then somehow got them to their real accounts, then their real accounts got banned "unfairly"

In my case when I had that issue, it was because of a resolution thing. I had last played on a 16:9 screen but now have 16:10 and the game didn't handle that well. Looking at the file now, it's probably because besides Height and Width options it has NativeHeight and NativeWidth so those didn't match my new monitor and I guess it didn't like that. If you're not sure you can always just copy it to a different folder instead of deleting it.

So if anyone wants to try to kill the Eyeless as a guild event, show up Sunday at 8 edt. You need to be at least Newcomer with THORN but that's doing 5 of the dailies I think.

I did all of the dailies yesterday, including the 4M heroic, and I was still an outsider. People need to do THORN dailies for at least two days to to hit Newcomer status. I kind of question the timing of the plan for this raid, since it's on a Sunday of a three day weekend, most people are going to be shitfaced. In preparation of KoTFE I have now made sure that all my companions* are in Yavin gear, stockpiled crafting mats to go from 500-550 as quickly as possible and - mostly for the Yavin SH - squirreled away 45 million creds and bought a bunch of decorations. I don't want to do the Yavin 4 weekly no more. Don't make me. *Except for Quinn and Skadge as I really hope that the "betray companions" line from the KoTFE blurb will let me space them.

Yeah I'm in that unmotivated phase where if I'm bored I'll run the Yavin weekly so most of my main characters have all their companions in 192 gear. I'm also trying to get Nich as close to maxed out Ultimate and Elite comms in the hopes that the new expansion raises the gear level you get with those (like when Black Market went from Elite to basics)
