So he has access to a whole site full of content creators...And goes authentic in the worst possible way with his poo poo film, by not taking advantage of modern technology and treating it all as a way to execute his vision.

The least he could have done would have been to put up a shared document so people could provide input and notes.

Everything I learn about Doug makes him seem more unpleasant. I feel that's the perfect word. He's not malevolent, not antagonistic like some of the higher ups at that site seem to be. He's just a person that is ultimately very unpleasant to be around.

I don't see how he wouldn't at least be aware of how lovely the others running the site are, but I'm willing to admit that as far as that stuff goes it has been mostly them, unless it's a Better Call Saul Chuck-Hamlin situation.

Still, that Sixty of Nine bullshit is ridiculous. I really feel sorry for Lindsay and everyone else who've had to put up with that kind of thing working with CA.

Woah woah woah, a lot of those people might make decent videos, but I haven't seen clear signs that a one of them has the ability to leverage their personal brand synergy with the site to dynamically generate paradigm shifting content. I've seen very little proactive disruptive innovation of mission critical core competencies and upload their bleeding edge content to the cloud.

Regarding To Boldly Flee, that 60 of 9 bullshit is nothing. Originally, the scene where Mechakara turns Nostalgia Chick into a cyborg plays like this:

And basically, Doug did not know that it came off like Film Brain was like willfully ignoring a rape. Like Lindsay and Lewis, on set, had to fight and say no, we're not doing it like that, it sounds like a rape. It didn't turn out much better in the end, but lordy. I should try and dig up the original TBF script if I have it.

They didn't send it to us until like a week before, possibly because they were still writing it. Doug and Rob fought over that thing so hard, which is why it comes off like two different movies at times. Although I am told in the original original version Doug wrote, there were a poo poo ton more costumes.
