Yeah, like I was bummed over losing or whatever but meltdown.txt is not only giving me some nice perspective but it's a hell of a consolation prize. Well, that and 18 re-rolls. I'll probably never use all those since I only ever wear a few different things so it's really no big deal.

I'm going to be putting two more slots on my 1* Black Layered LS, among other things, because I really like how it looks, even if its primary ability is just Ink Saver (Main). Remember, winning is temporary, but looking cool is forever.

I missed the Rock vs Pop splatfest due to my new ISP sitting on their asses instead of connecting my internet tubes. I coulda saved Pop. I even made pretty pictures for it. Cod dammit. At least the Splatfest sperg meltdown brightened up my day.

Does anyone here have the occasional trouble with shooting down from ledges? It feels that unless you are right on the edge, your shots more often than not will get caught on the edge. It's really annoying and got me killed a few times.

As places to aim from it can get a mite unwieldy

Man, I'm just glad I can finally vary up my fashion choices a bit more regardless of being on the losing team. Then again, I'd be doing that already if it weren't for my crippling desire to buy every article of clothing I don't already own regardless of what ability it has. I spend about 10-20 minutes just picking out the exact kind of outfit and weapon I want to use on a given day and I've probably just extended it to 30 minutes thanks to Splatfest.  I also have that problem on ledges; trying to shoot down from it leads me to shooting the floor. It's less of an issue as a roller, I think. Unless a railing is involved. Being honest, having the low ground feels more advantageous than I'd expect it to, especially since I've been gravitating toward shooters with decent range on them anyway. Then again I am the type of person who can go on a complete massacre and then cut it short by jumping off the side of the map or meandering straight into the most obvious Splat Bomb in Inkopolis, so take what I say with a grain of salt. With the number of players playing it's not like individual skill matters much for a splatfest anyway. I won about 80% of my matches and spent a lot of time on it but Team Cat only had a 1% or less difference. If the losing team got no reward at all I'd probably feel a little disappointed but regardless of reward I had a fun time playing splatfest with friends in the room and handing off the gamepad and that was worth more than any silly video game seashells.

There was this one tower control match where all four opposing squids gathered on the tower and bubble shielded for the last stretch. I couldn't get mad at that, even though it was a goddamn steamroll.
