Monk is pretty much the same as it was in 2.0 rotation wise the only real change is you can start fights with 1 stack of GL and your opener is a little different, other than that it plays exactly the same way (with an additional ogcd skill).

Got all the stuff I needed to get done for tomorrow done, went to our in, aaaaaaaaaand maintenance. gently caress me sideways. I guess it's movie night instead. My FC of friends and friends of friends is going along smoothly and I'm almost at WHM so as much as I really wanted to play tonight I guess I can take the night off. Totally enjoying the game, even more than I expected to. It's definitely the best MMO I've played.

Hello friends, I have updated the MCH guide on ffgoons to include a rotation! Yay. *victory fanfare* Anyway, I'm still generally a garbage person but I think I've got that part of the guide more or less nailed, so let me know if you have questions/concerns/complaints/general hatred and I will do what I can to make it less lovely. Thank you and have a nice night.

I'm sad that Alexander is going to be the expansion version of Coil. It looks so cool but I've never had the patience for "progression raiding". Hopefully the CT equivalent comes out soon.

They're gonna need to change something for the upcoming recipes, though, because right now the specialist actions are fairly useless at level 60 due to level 60 recipes having a much, much lower chance of Good Procs than pre-60. The current recipes are easy enough, but if the next batch gets hard then I can see you being forced to use delineations which is really annoying. Otherwise the Specialist actions are pretty bad to put it bluntly, and I don't see them making the life of anyone easier without a lot of blue scrips. WWYW works good pre-60 but it's unsustainable afterwards. As it is right now you dont need to be a level 60 omnicrafter but you still need to have the DoH classes leveled to the point where you have access to the same old cross-class skills.

Normal is apparently "like Coil with echo but not the mechanic nerfs" while hard mode will be easier than savage but harder than normal coil was. Normal mode Alexander will probably still be harder than EX primals and Crystal Tower by a fair bit. Evil Fluffy fucked around with this message at 07:55 on Jul 7, 2015 |

My dream situation is that merely having a specialist soul equipped gives you a large boost to good% (bringing one-star in line with pre-50 crafts), and then you can use the consumable when you really want to go all out, and nearly guarantee an HQ even without omnicrafting. This will probably not happen though.

Having the good proc not nerfed would already be a good boost to specializations and it would make the new actions far better than they are at the moment.

My lizard decided to take a giant nasty rear end poo poo all over my old keyboard, so now I have a decent wireless mouse \ keyboard combo plugged into my PS3. Yo dude from page 115. And Alexander's awakening is somehow, perhaps, tied into the crap going on in Azys Lla.

That Link posted:Since the Sharlayan exodus, a structure has stood steady against the flow of the Thaliak River. Now, the Illuminati have summoned a primal around this rusting ruin─a terrible colossus of steam and metal. Steel screamed against steel when it rose from the waters, and it drank deep of the land's aether before grinding again to a halt. The structure was always there, but the preview at least suggests that the primal was summoned by the Illuminati. Of course, who knows what will be ~revealed~ later.
