My SiriusXM subscription is up for yearly renewal next month, and they want me to pay $205 for one year of the Sirius Select package (no internet, just for one radio). I got the radio primarily for HS, but given that there are on average 5 shows a month over the next few months, that's just not worth it...not even close. In fact, I think I'm okay with only paying maybe half of that. What's the best way to try to get my bill reduced? Call them up and ask? Or threaten to cancel? I'm assuming that a call is better than trying to email?

Call and tell them you're cancelling because you're afraid Howard is retiring.

A thought I had earlier, listening to Sternthology. There was an episode last week with Richard Simmons on it, and I totally love that guy when he's on the show. He is literally the anti-Howard. He is consistently upbeat, always positive, loves everybody, and has just this incredible enthusiasm. He doesn't tolerate any mean comments, and just wants to make everyone happy. I would love to hear a Richard clip pack, hearing him and Howard fight is always hilarious.

The lowest I ever got was $8. When it was up this year the lowest I could get them was $12. Wasn't worth it at this point. I just listen to the previous days show a day later.

I'd call up, tell them that you don't need the music part any more because there are other, cheaper options like Spotify and Apple Music now, and that you think Howard is retiring so you have no reason to keep getting it. If they don't give you the price you want, tell them thanks anyway and actually cancel. In a month or two they'll start sending you crazy low deals in the mail.

Almost all the staff have landed good looking women. Even Jason Kaplan has a cute wife(or did, I haven't seen pics in years and years) and we all know Benjy has landed some tail.

Even a modicum of fame goes a long, long way with women.

Yea but you're talking about someone raised on internet porn and poorly socialized with girls growing up. It'd be more surprising if he didn't treat a cam girl like a total whore.

So, I'm finally getting into Beetlejuice. I had heard some things before, but never really listened to any of his appearances. This is fantastic.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iX_OlK0cM0k

I think the first thing I ever heard about the Howard Stern show, waaaay back in the day (he was never on the radio where I grew up), was when some girl at a carrot out of Beet's rear end. I think that's right? I don't know, maybe I'm just making that up, but I'm pretty sure it happened.

There has never been, nor will there ever be, a person like Beetlejuice. He's a small ball of retarded dynamite with probably the best (worst) influences ever to create the perfect human being. For my money he really be the most unique person to have ever existed in the world. Long live King Beet.
