Moments later, when she takes a tumble, the ropes appear to have magically disappeared. That confused me too so I youtubed it. You can see them slipping off of the arms of the chair when she falls. The ropes weren't actually tied down to the chair, they were just tied around the chair's arms and hers.

I was always a Marvel fan, most of my exposure to DC is through the animated shows when I was a kid. Roughly speaking this is what happened. As the Adam West Batman show and Silver Age started to wane, DC put Denny O'Neill ad the primary writer for Batman. O'Neill started to write a much more grittier Golden Age inspired flavor of Batman. As a result, the need for Robin dropped, and Dick was allowed to actually grow up, attend university, and become a standalone character. Later on DC decided to bring back Robin, but couldn't use Dick Grayson. Instead they introduced Jason Todd, who literally has the same origin as Dick. Except Dick got Jason's parents involved in the investigation, instead of them being completely innocent bystanders. Jason is adopted by Bruce, he discovers he's Batman, and eventually Dick passes the torch to him. Jason was never really ever around all that much pre-Crisis. He was introduced as Robin in '83 and Crisis was '86. His most and only memorable moment was defeating Mongul in "For The Man Who Has Everything". Once Crisis was over, the writers took the continuity reset to change Jason over to a distinct character who was different from Dick. DC continuity isn't horrible per se, they like to keep things fairly general and ambiguous while maintaining a floating timeline. It generally isn't hard to grasp a rough approximation of the backstory or what transpired. The real issue is that they've honestly hit the reset button way too much recently. Marvel on the other hand has some pretty convoluted continuity, since they don't do hard resets in the 616 universe, and aside from the occasional soft reboot a character, continuity sticks. Like how Jubilee is a vampire or Doc Ock is Spiderman.

DC's resets always confused me. The only DC books I've really read have been self contained elseworlds stories and the big batman stuff (Year One, The Long Halloween, Dark Knight Returns, etc) I guess Marvel is finally doing their big continuity reboot by merging the mainline and ultimate universes. Following comics is such a chore.

I started by super launching (space + space + space + space) from the top of the bridge between Bleake and Magiani, LCTRL to dive until just under the bridge, glide through and go way back up, then alternately diving and gliding up to the bridge from Magiani to Founders, then diving and gliding up until gliding under the bridge between Founders and Bleake. I tried it in the opposite direction and had a hard time timing the dive and pulling up, but for some reason it was much easier this direction. Got it on the first try. I, Butthole posted:I've hit a dead end because Riddler informants aren't spawning anyone - is this a glitch? You've already found all the riddles- they're either in interior areas on a particular island, or (hint!) they're referring to an object that's not only on one particular island. Easter egg: the plaque in the Wayne office foyer appears to be giving credit to two of the main environment artists as architects of the building, which is a nice touch. ...Has anyone gotten a screenshot of the server screen in the GCPD communications room?

I, Butthole posted:I've hit a dead end because Riddler informants aren't spawning anyone - is this a glitch? Informants only spawn if there are untagged accessible riddles/breakables. (Though you can get locations for riddles that haven't been placed in the air ships, movie studios and HQ) What are you missing? If you're at the end 9f the game, and the missing stuff is on Founders Island, check the subway line. If it isn't the end, Riddled adds stuff to the Movie Studios and HQ after your trip there.

Riddler informants also, for some reason, do not spawn if you are not taking out enemies. Drive around in the Batmobile and run into every thug you see. I have no idea why this is the case, but I didn't find any for like 30 minutes, hopped in the car, and they appeared after almost every guy I killed.

The Batgirl DLC is confirmed delayed for an indefinite time in PC as well. Some hints about more details on when the next patch is to be possibly covered next week but they're careful to promise nothing.

I'm not a PC (or even console) season pass holder so I'm not talking about me. vv Regardless, it isn't really a case where it has to come secondary. Ubisoft's Unity mess for example didn't need to wait until they fixed the game. WB doesn't necessarily have to do the same thing but short of making exclusive content for the PC users as a "I'm sorry" I'm not sure what else they could do.

Found an easter egg. I went back through the GCPD HQ after getting 100% and at the Arkham Knight Militia cells there is a guy trying to goad Batman. I you go up to the bars and push the attack button you grab him by the back of the head and slam his face into the bars. He then falls on his back, out cold.
