I balked at seeing nearly six hundred new posts, thinking it was going to be more tedious, circular back-and-forth about Hillary v. Bernie like the six hundred posts before it. Now I'm simultaneously terrified and gleeful for our nation's future. Nihilism may be the correct way of thinking come 2017

Based on this thread's reaction, I take it that Trump doused an effigy of the Republican establishment in gasoline, screaming the Rivers of Blood speech while members of the Know-Nothing Party danced around him. Does anyone have video of the full rally so I can watch the train wreck myself?

Trump says multiple times in his recent speech that he's going to file his financial disclosure next week. I really hope he follows through, if just to see how Fox tries to screen him out of the debate next.

Like, I know it goes without saying he said a poo poo ton of racist nonsense, but anything special or just a generic "NO I AM ACTUALLY CORRECT AND THE MEXICANS ARE HUMAN MONSTERS WE MUST REMOVE I AM VERY SMART AND COOL AND MY DICK IS HUGE"? Trump wants to build artificial island bases in the South China Sea and charge a $100,000 fee to the Mexican government per undocumented immigrant. ISIS is one of his major competitors in the hotel business. He will also repeal PPACA and replace it with a national health care system. You can't condense the speech into a highlight reel, the entire thing was a highlight reel.

Naw, while they do have money up there they tend to be more educated and liberal, surprisingly. All the old folks in Phoenix are exactly Trump's type - they actually don't have a lot of money but like to pretend they do. Most of them are retirees from flyover states or the east coast. I think the only way the GOP can defeat him is claim that his support for "taking care of everyone" with the "sorry, conservatives" line makes him a socialist non-conservative, and then hope he doubles down on it like with immigration and alienates enough of the base.

So what are the chances that Trump actually spends his money to build campaign infrastructure in the early primary/caucus states and pay for ads like a normal politician would? He is rich enough to build a real campaign if he wanted to, but I'm not sure that's his goal here.

Yeah, the GOP establishment needs to start saying that Trump's healthcare plan is "worse than Obamacare" and that would probably at least stifle his momentum.

Fine I guess I'll watch the whole clusterfuck tomorrow. I pray that Trump gets a surge from the idiots from this, I want the Republicans to have their nose pushed in the poo poo pile they made for a little long, and nothing perfectly does that like having to deal with a mainstream candidate who's taken their rhetoric to the endgame of "NO, NO, gently caress THOSE MEXICANS AND I'LL KICK CHINA'S rear end AND EVERYONE IS GONNA SUCK MY DICK OR GET BLOWN UP BECAUSE WE'RE THE BEST" And there's half mast
