I realise trying to find ideological consistency in politoons (and especially the Murdoch press) is something of a fool's errand, but these two seem weirdly different for subsequent days:




While the Greek government come off as (at best) pretty dumb in both cartoons, the second seems to point the majority of the blame on the creditors who are absent in the first one so making the Greeks seem more culpable. Also, there's an interesting element of "trickle down economics and austerity are both bullshit" in the second one, though given the source that's probably unintentional.
